The last six months have found me seriously reconsidering my relationship to the dance floors I've grown up on, processing regret, guilt and shame for whatever part I've played in upholding the institutions that are holding us all back. Stark-realizations-I’ve-been-ignoring-for-literal-years type beats. 

This is a recording of me closing out our first weekend Sorry Records party at Nowadays from 3:30am to just after 5am on April 5th 2024. I must admit I kinda blacked out for this set and at first I felt as if I didn't exactly achieve what I set out to do. I love closing parties but must admit I found it particularly tough to DJ the way I want to and find a truly joyful and natural improvisational flow when I’m hosting the party and have been on my feet being social for 7+ hours.

Just like my first set at the club (which is archived as my Spontaneous Affinity mix), I aimed for this set to speak on my personal relationship to this music and the spaces that form around it. While that first set was about looking back, this one found me trying to address the present moment as well as express a genuine hope for the future.
