Sacha Treasure aka Mikrotakt is a producer/DJ and resident of Tbilisi based DifferentSound Records.

A London native who grew up in the deep forest of Sweden - This raw groove dealer has already released on the likes of Cantical Records, Catalog 01366, Trau-ma and the aforementioned DifferentSound. With more big releases planned for the rest of the year, there's no sign of slowing down.

From the age of 14 Sacha has been learning his way around DAWs and electronic music, experimenting with old school hip hop. Coming from a very musical background his family encouraged creativity - Learning many instruments throughout his childhood from violin to piano.

Sacha later fell in love with the underground rave scene and the sound of Techno. Since then he has gotten involved where he can and developed his sound.

Mikrotakt can be identified as raw, percussive and groovy. His hybrid sets deliver pounding rhythms full of energy.

Ben is an artist with a focus on creating a balanced combination of a more original and modern club-orientated sound. For the last six years, he has explored and experimented using various styles of techno. Intuitive and unique, his productions have been largely inspired by a Eurorack Modular Synthesiser.

I-RO, born in Istanbul, began her musical journey with drumming and exploring different genres of music at a young age. Moving to Amsterdam led her to find the music scene that fits her artistic identity and passion. The creative outlet exposed her talents which were quickly picked up by various organizations.

Her sound is characterized by its hypnotic grooves and surprising elements. To create an effective atmosphere she likes to integrate sound patterns from various sub-genres of techno into her sets (e.g ambient, trance, oldschool, hardgroove). Together with her storytelling skills and desire to stay connected with the dancefloor, her sets are a sensory experience.

Her journey with electronic music started ten years ago, chasing the eternal high and best parties in the world as a regular dancer in cities like London and Berlin. Carmen eventually made the transition from the dancefloor to the decks as her passion for music grew, set to immerse herself further into the electronic music scene by playing vinyl, honing her skills as a DJ and developing a unique style that combines elements of techno, trance, and rave music.

For the first mix of the year we have producer & DJ William Arist. The Uruguayan artist has been involved in music since the young age of 11 and has refined his sound of Techno over the past years. Last week he released on Frenzy with a remarkable EP and his own imprint Perseverancia is a steady source of the timeless sound we all love. We also strongly admire him for his initiative of raising money for the Amazon with the album Basquade. A storytelling album with a spiritual context.

We are very happy to have to have William on the series with a mix solely of his own productions. A mix that showcases his eclectic production style with a driving and focused take on the sound.
