Elad Magdasi has long been entrenched in the rave scene, first and foremost, as a dancer. It is precisely this edge which can be felt in the emotional fabric he weaves into his productions.

It is his love for raving that keeps his mojo running whilst bringing inspiration to his life.

After moving from Tel Aviv to Berlin in 2013, Elad evolved and ended up founding his own label - Front Left Records, along with his husband Mathias Weber. The label is a collective of friends who dance together and celebrate techno weekly. All the releases come from artists who share the front left corner of the dance floor.

Diversity is the key in Elad’s sets, keeping the old and the new combined and making sure you hear some synthesizers.

"Returning to the scene in 2019 with acid and trance sounds, after a break being originally disappointed by the 2000s Italian club scene where he started DJing, Alessio (aka ELA//404) is a vivid vinyl collector and DJ currently expressing an old-school techno, straight-to-the-point sound under a strict vinyl regime. You can find everything in his collection from ambient, downtempo and house to ghetto, elektro and harder rave genres. Knowing his background and his influences, it is no surprise to find occasional trips to this and that genre in his groove-filled selections. Highly driven by the improvisational flow of the moment, his sets keep varying and orbiting around different sonic expressions, while still keeping a clearly distinguishable sound.
We propose you his latest mix, where he focuses on hypnotic/electric sounds held together by a rolling groove structure, with some touches of funkiness and Chicago here and there. Enjoy!

Welcome in episode #33 with https://soundcloud.com/dafnedjx - she started her adventure with decks less than two years ago, getting involved in musical projects such as Projekt Pralnia or the series Mecenat in https://soundcloud.com/transformator-tfr, which she runs and in which she promotes young adepts of mixing art.

She feels best playing broadly understood techno, more and more often experimenting with tribal and even psychedelic sounds.
When playing, the most important thing for her is the dynamics of tracks, choosing those that are both danceable and hypnotic, alternately combining tribal percussion and unobvious vocals with trippin, galloping techno.

It will be no different in the podcast recorded for us - a wild journey awaits you in the company of various sounds creating an unusual whole.
