Shaleen

Next up we have a woman who brings her electrifying a-game in each and every occasion. Shaleen started listening to techno music at a really young age. To her, the music and everything around it was always about togetherness, revolution, to stand up for the right things, to grow and to experience them as one. This was also in her mind, when she first started SURD event series and upcoming label. She invented a feminine/queer movement in the west of Germany’s Ruhr-Area, where nothing like this existed at this point. A very significant point in her career was the moment Janein asked her to be the next member of Seelen Records. The whole crew quickly became like a second family to her. 

She released her first debut EP in early 2020 on Seelen Records, which included a Hector Oaks and a New Frames Remix. Quickly followed by the next release dropped by the Turkish label „Primus“, which stands up for women's rights. Another banging release came right after that on Brooklyn’s mighty Whirlwindtrax. 

A lot of dreams came true for Shaleen - she was playing in Germany's most wanted venue's like Institut fuer Zukunft, Distillery, About Blank, Goethebunker, Griessmühle, Pal - just to name a few - not to overlook her first appearance at Berghain’s Säule in 2019, which was a very special moment for her. She also started to travel abroad and played gigs in foreign countries, all of these are currently handled by Ellen Alien’s mighty BPitch so be sure to head over there for all the most recent news and bookings. 
Her music can be described as tough, raw and energetic. It can be super dramatic, fast, or a peak time rave experience, always with a huge amount of energy included.

While producing, Shaleen is trying to focus on what is coming out of herself according to the present moment. She describes music production as some kind of a way to process the deepest feelings or emotions - a love process for sure.

Derrière le nom ABS8LUTE se cache une diggueuse passionnée de musique. Ses explorations sonores et festives initiées à l’adolescence forgent sa culture musicale et électronique jusqu’à l’amener dans les méandres de la trance et de la techno rave, ses genres de prédilection.

Avec ses sets, elle aime donc transporter son auditoire en mission spatiale dans des voyages cosmiques mais toujours énergiques. Vitesse de croisière : 143 bpm.

Activiste musicale, elle oeuvre tant derrière les platines que dans la sphère des musiques électroniques, notamment en écrivant pour plusieurs médias de musique, en animant des conférences et des talks sur l’inclusion pour Technopol et la Paris Electronic Week et par la création du Vénus Club, collectif de femmes DJs pour favoriser la représentation des femmes dans les line-ups.

Valeur montante de la scène française, Abs8lute a récemment fait ses débuts au mythique Berghain, et enchaine les projets pour cette saison 2023-2024. Un mix joué dans "Aérienne on Air", émission live d'Aérienne sur Line Out.

@sedatedj is a DJ from Katowice, Poland. Proud member of Mødule collective. He started his carier at the beginning of 2021, although he has been an electronics enthusiast for years. In sets, an important factor for him is the marriage of individual expression with the awareness of the role in the line-up and stylistic consistency in the overall view of the event. Although as part of Mødule's activities, he might be famous for classic sound and tresor techno, Sedate is happy to break it with heavier sounds during his individual performances.

Tresor Resident Night, czy autorskiego cyklu Secret Rave - na wzór berlińskiego STAUB. Kuba nie liczy bpm, ani fallowersów - zanurzony głównie w dark techno, deep i hypnotic techno.
