WECANDANCE is thrilled to announce four energizing remixes of their 2024 theme track by Belgian artists FAISAL, José Noventa, Stimular, and GRCA. Each artist, representing some of the festival's stagehosts this summer, crafted their unique spin on this year's theme track by Charlotte & Reinhard. The album is titled ‘Drop in The Light, Rise in The Dark (The Remixes)’ and represents different genres and communities welcomed to the festival’s beach. 

Charlotte & Reinhard and the four artists creating the remixes serve as the festival's music directors. The first and original spring-released track, 'Drop in The Light, Rise in The Dark,' is Charlotte & Reinhard’s creative, musical take on the festival’s theme. The new album serves as a teaser, a preview of what visitors can expect when joining #WECANDANCE24, from Amapiano to Hardtechno and Melodic Techno to UK House.

Athenalys est une DJ/Productrice originaire de Toulouse. Attirée depuis l'enfance par la musique électronique, c'est naturellement qu'elle parcourt les raves et les free parties pendant plus de 10 ans. En 2019 qu'elle se décide à apprendre le DJing, avec une sélection musicale entre douceur et brutalité. Grâce à des djsets mélangeant différents types de Hardcore, elle a aujourd'hui su convaincre son public, et même les plus réticents au genre. Avec plusieurs releases à son actif comme « Sakura » et « Free party » sorties chez Undergroundtekno, En 2022 sa track « Valkyrie » se retrouve sur vinyle. En 2023, elle fait partie de la tournée « Born to Rave » avec Audiogenic. Elle finit l’année en étant sur l'emblématique compile Hollandaise : Thunderdome avec sa track «New Dawn».
