i wrote this when i was in a little bit of a corner in my semester where i sort of felt alone and overwhelmed with everything going on. i wrote from the perspective of fighting myself and my thoughts, and the struggle that came with it.

I made this for @artbyform's All Nighter Vol. 7 event, in which producers were challenged to create a track within a 24-hour window. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to start until 10pm and only spent around 4 hours on it...

We started working on this track in November 2023, when Edelways revived and completely turned around a raw and neglected demo I had begun and subsequently ignored in November 2022.

Over the past year, with many revisions and tweaks, "Daytrip" has come to life.
It’s a mix of our sounds and styles and a soundscape we’re excited to share.
