The CIGMA is an electronic music project composed of four members: Carlos Peixoto, Cristiano Alves, Rafaela Figueiredo, and Tiago Aires, who aim to use their individual experiences and influences to create a unique experience that integrates music, video, lights, and visual effects.

In 2023, they performed at various renowned events, such as the UTAD Academic Week, RFM SOMNII, and the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). They released several successful songs, with a highlight being the collaboration with DJ/Producer Pedro Cazanova on the track “Alma.” This track reached the top of various national charts, including the #1 spot on iTunes’ POP chart. They gained international recognition when the duo Dada Life played their bootleg “SACRIFICE (PEDRO CARRILHO & CIGMA VIP EDIT)” on their radio show, produced in collaboration with DJ/Producer Pedro Carrilho. They also entered their first Beatport chart with the track “Easy To Love,” reaching the top 100 Mainstage. They participated in the RAVOLUTION Vol.1 ADE Edition album by Rave Nation Recordings with the track “ALICIA.” This album celebrates the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and features tracks from talented artists such as &LEZ, STEVIE KRASH, and MAYZE X FARIA. The track “ALICIA” was added to the “Tech House Anthems” playlist by the Hexagon label, owned by international DJ/Producer Don Diablo, and to the Radio Comercial Dance playlist.

In 2024, they released two tracks, including “Love is Killing Me” with Japanese DJ/Producer NORII on the DEN HAKU label, owned by NEALECK (which ranked 87th in DJMAG in 2024). They received support from big names in electronic music, such as R3hab, who played “Love is Killing Me” on CYB3RPVNK Radio. They entered various charts and playlists, including the top NEWCOMER Chart on 1001tracklist, radio playlists on Spotify (Kiss FM Ukraine, Raido Zet, Mega Hits, POWER HIT RADI, among others), and the top 100 dance/Electro pop on Beatport. Through their releases this year, they doubled their monthly listeners on Spotify, going from 40,000 to 100,000 in the first few months of the year.
