PREMIERE⚡️Jad Sabbah - Go With The Flow [39 Records]

"ASCENSION" is the debut album release from artist ston, an independently released project. 

For Ascension, I set out to explore hard house, bassline, and electronic elements throughout.

This body of work means a lot to me; it took up six months of my life and taught me so much about music production. It also taught me the importance of committing to what you set out to achieve and the struggles that can come with that. Most importantly, it showed me that imperfection is okay when the alternative is procrastination.

I created this album using the DAW FL Studio, and as of its release, I’ve begun transitioning to Ableton, a commitment I set for myself when I first began this project.
Through this experience, I’ve learned that moving forward, I want to dive into more intricate ideas and trust my creative process without falling into the trap of comparing my work to others. I’m eager to experiment with more abstract percussions, deeper emotional progressions, and unconventional grooves. It’s going to be a journey, but I’m excited for it to begin.

The former Weplayminimal Booking, based in Frankfurt and Berlin, launched in 2010, is an international booking agency operating for various artists of the techhouse – techno genre. Our young and upcoming artists are our credo. With their music activities and individual being they are our top priority.

By M.in’s track on Play It Down „I am my favourite freak“, the idea for a different kind of freakshow was born in Summer 2011. With letting our mind wander, creating a construct as fundation, which now represent a series of events, label and booking at the same time. „My Favourite Freaks“ is meant to be a community of like-minded people who spur their own thing – just good music – on.
