Rave The Planet is non-profit organization based in Berlin and dedicated to the art and culture of electronic music. 

Their main aims are

RAVE THE PLANET - Supporter Series

As the big day of the parade approaches we are really excited for the 10th release in the catalogue! For the first time in the series our supporters, plus Dr. Motte himself, take over the remix duties to deliver a full package of their Rave The Planet Parade's anthem interpretations!

The original by A*S*Y*S & Kai Tracid gets a remix treatment - making it a carefully tailored fit for various dance floors from Melodic House to peak time Techno.

The pack starts off strong with a rework by Klaudia Gawlas. Known for her outdoor Techno festivals DJ experience - from Mayday and Time Warp to Awakenings and Tomorrowland - she delivers a real prime time Techno weapon. Fast tempo, rolling sweaty beats resonate with that unmistakable acid arpeggio and hypnotic vocal sample.

Next up is Beatport Top100 Melodic House & Techno artist, Katermukke's very own - https://soundcloud.com/matchyofficial, who jumps on the remix blending smoothly the minimal and melodic house aesthetics with some stormy build up moments that will make the crowd go wild.

Last but not least, Rave The Planet's mastermind Dr. Motte teams up with his old friend and long-time studio collaborator Tom Wax (Harthouse, Bush Records, Suara, Filth On Acid) to share their vision of the perfect parade's anthem seen from a slightly different perspective. They open the version with their own vocal sample, boost the beat with a strong kick drum and add some extra colour and light beams through their artistic lens.

The second round of the Rave The Planet Parade's anthem remixes is here! As you might have already guessed, this selection is just as diverse and dancefloor friendly.

First to start things off is Drumcode and Terminal M artist Patrik Berg, who knows exactly how to turn the original into a perfect peak-time DJ tool, as he performed on the main Rave The Planet float at the parade!

Following Patrik's remix is another techno burner by Beatport Top 100 Techno artist, LA-based Marie Vaunt. Her interpretation leans more towards an underground techno classic that will make the club walls sweat!

Last but certainly not least, we have a remix from the winner of our Music In Africa X Rave The Planet remix contest! The jury - consisting of the full Rave The Planet team and the original artists A*S*Y*S & Kai Tracid themselves - had no doubts. The winner is Nairobi-based, pioneering Kenyan Afro House duo: Dylan S & Foozak who have turned the anthem into a real soulful, groovy and melodic house gem.

After a selection of Rave The Planet's anthem remixes, it is time for the exclusive original tracks again! The next instalment, number 12 in our Supporter Series catalog, belongs to real Techno legends: Alan Oldham aka https://soundcloud.com/dj-t-1000 and https://soundcloud.com/damagemusicberlin, whose names are synonymous with the Berlin underground Techno scene.

Alexander Kowalski (Kanzleramt, Tronic), owner of Damage Music Berlin, is a true electronic music maestro whose skillfull and fearless approach helped him create masterpieces that are now considered Techno classics. His latest "Summer Storm" is no exception, with powerful and complex beat arrangement and layers of deep and spheric pads carrying the healing message of electronic music.

The second track on the sampler is by Alan Oldham aka DJ T-1000 (Tresor, BPitch Control), who co-wrote the Techno music history in its early days back in Detroit as a member of Underground Resistance. Based in Berlin for almost a decade, Alan knows precisely how socially important the clubbing culture is and he has expressed his stand and strong support in our UNESCO documentary. "Hyperdrive" features his signature 909 programming, massive reverberated claps, snare shuffles and evolving arpeggio build up.

🎶 Here is RTP013 of the Rave The Planet Supporter Series! Strictly aimed for the main room dancefloors!

First on the sampler is "Acid Way" coming courtesy of Italian producer https://soundcloud.com/irregularsynth (founder of Dirty Minds records). As the title suggests, there's plenty of that iconic 303 sound to be heard. But Irregular Synth takes it to the next level with masterfully chopped and mixed bits of vocals, electro baseline and synth leads creating a superb techno workout.

Next up is electronic music veteran, Kayoon label boss https://soundcloud.com/vargo and his "Steam". To produce this big anthem-like track Vargo has collected field recordings of various steam sounds and noises: from the 'Kaiser Wilhelm' (a historic paddle steamer on the Elbe river) to his own home iron, everything that hisses was recorded and melted into the rhythm, creating an uplifting melodic techno piece.

Hypnotic, progressive arpeggios and dramatic saw bass synth sounds follow the hammering kick drum for a pure open-air parade togetherness bliss.

Romanian-born, Toronto-bred https://soundcloud.com/simina-grigoriu (Elevate, Tronic, Form, Kuukou Records), who has been turning heads with her unique take on straightforward and uplifting Techno for over a decade now, gifts us the excellent ‘Give Me A Voice’ from her base in Berlin. She makes things even more interesting with the subtle, deep keyboard chords and warm electronic synth sparkles looped to create a beautiful retro nostalgic atmosphere.

Following this year's motto "Music Is The Answer", the anthem was recorded by the father of the legendary Berlin Love Parade - Dr. Motte, together with Jam El Mar (Jam & Spoon) and Rave The Planet's very own Ellen on vocals.
