Episode 179 of the Voight-Kampff mix series featuring Nyla.

This week we have a friend of the series, also one half of the duo VANDAL. Nyla began to transition into the world of fast techno and trance a few years ago, after building a solid foundation within electro, breaks and bass music. As time went on, his influences remained prominent in his music - with breaks never much further than a stone throw away within his tracks, surrounded by a flurry of intensely powerful percussion and glitchy synth work. It is fair to say that Nyla's musical career is very far from his peak, given how much of a workhorse he is when it comes to production - stereotypically speaking, he is one to watch. Keep an eye on him for the foreseeable future, as more fruits of his labour are no doubt on their way.
