Reloaded

I feel like making music again! I think that I have figured out the cause to my block. I have been struggling to produce music for the past six months. Every time I felt like producing I would turn on my digital audio workstation and then I immediately felt overwhelmed. I would turn it off again and then not get the urge to produce for weeks. This is because what I was trying to create at the time was music that sounded like everything else. I was trying to sound like my favorite producers (Above and Beyond, Alphazone, Deadmau5) and when I made something that didn't sound like any of them, I lost confidence in my ability to create music. I was trying to become the next big thing. The next top 100 DJ. I have come to realize that the best thing to do is to create music with my own feelings. My own desires. Don't let any of the big names get you down because what is important is not to sound like the current trend, but to sound like yourself. The music flows easily from my hands when I have no thoughts on the current trend. I'll create music that is 100% my own from now on.

Silent Beauty

Gained some insight on new techniques when I made this track. I really love Above & Beyond's "We're all we need" and I wanted to try and create it to gain new knowledge on production techniques.

Anthony is a classically trained pianist that has been on the piano since the age of 5. From there, he went to learn how to play other instruments until he discovered eletroinica in junior high school and fell in love with it immediately. He quickly decided he was going to learn how to produce his own music. He discovered a program called Fruity Loops back when it was at version 3.0. Now using the latest version, he uses it exclusevly to create his music. He has one track signed to the label One For All Records under his belt and is constantly working on new tracks.
