Please welcome 'Little Darling', an immaculate slice of glistening progressive house that twinkles and shines with every bit of emotional weight we need after a year+ of lockdowns. Taking a rainbow of arpeggiated chords in the same way many timeless trance records did back in the day, there's a natural, and very gentle, ebb and flow that's driven by the stately kicks, bass line and cheeky flips into breakbeats and tribal percussion.

Think classic Hooj Tunes and Platipus releases but galvanised by that fresh 20s energy and feeling that a new dawn is coming closer; Marsh is soundtracking how we're all feeling right now.

8Kays has continuously followed her inner call of hunting to new sound landscapes since her music career turned into the "8Kays" chapter. Always inclined to her vision to pursue, 8Kays has released amazing records on renowned Renaissance, Oliver Koletzki's Stil Vor Talent, Yotto's Odd One Out label, as well as great remixes for Berlin-based Booka Shade and Joplyn.
2019 was the year when we had 'Dance Alone' recorded by 8Kays together with Tone Of Arc and released with splendid remixes from Alex Niggemann and Olivier Giacomotto. The world is finally opening the curtains to music, so we can't miss our chance to share such a great EP with you.
'Respect Me' is the title track of this release. It is recorded with Lazarusman: the man of a word, the warrior of a poem. Lazarus is an artist who always brings importance to his works. There is always sense, feeling and message in his words. 'Respect Me' is a protest; it's a manifestation where Lazarusman is explaining his meaning of respect, so you just should listen to it. 8Kays sound design is super detailed in this work: stompy and energetic basslines are a great fit for all the melodic and extra-diverse elements of the track.
French producer Rodriguez Jr. is jumping on 'Respect Me' with his vision. Low electrified sounds with the long-sweeping background alongside the melodic enveloping plus rare and targeted dub-chords create a special remix and which we are very proud to have.
'Young Souls' is the next track of this release. Its hammering mood is recreated with the complex pressure-based bassline and retro synthesizer sounding guitar-like. Additionally, there is Aquarius Heaven on a featuring part.
His meaningful message was recorded during the pandemic peak-time period. It explains it all: the importance of choice, nightlife wandering and life realities we are facing each day.
Aquarius Heaven's vocals are brilliantly harmonized by 8Kays, she gives them a neat and encompassingly completed compositing feeling.
Happy to welcome Denis Horvat to the remix work. We've been big fans of Denis sound. It's extraordinary and unique, but certainly authentic. Therefore we knew the remix is going to be special even before Denis started doing it.
His powerful version gives a full spectrum of moods: detuned sounds, glitchy details and robotized Aquarius vocals are taking us to the breakdown which is worth the wait. Modulizing sounds on the breakdown give a long-awaited unexpected feeling which we are always looking at.
We'll keep on creating more for you, setting no boundaries. As usual.

Renowned Buenos Aires-based DJ/Producer Sebastian Busto makes his label debut with December and The Miracle, and the label enlists the remix talents of Dmitry Molosh, Zankee Gulati and Lèrr to create an array of stunning interpretations across another exceptional 5-track onedotsixtwo package.

The pulsating energy of 'December' is immediately mesmerising as Sebastian Busto creates the perfectly beautiful dreamy atmosphere that he is renowned for. Elegantly layered melodies float and flow with flawless precision, as his unique musical vision is showcased magnificently. Following on, 'The Miracle' dives deeper with a wonderfully evocative percussive groove and equally blissful melodic layering that, once again, perfectly displays this Argentine artist’s immense talents to perfection. His stunning remix is fuelled with funk and fire to create an utterly enthralling ride fuelled with rising anticipation and spine-tingling euphoric elation. 

Through his love of exploring progressive realms of music, the Sydney-based Australian DJ/Producer Zankee Gulati is rapidly making his mark on the scene. A blossoming production career has already seen him exhibit his immense talents on the likes of Clinique, Soundteller, Particles, Visceral, Balkan Connection, and most recently, The Soundgarden. His remix of December has seen exclusive early support from Hernan Cattaneo on his Resident radio show, and it is easy to see why. Deeply hypnotic and with a wonderfully intricate arrangement this is masterfully melodic music of the highest order.

Completing this expansive 5-track package is an utterly blissful remix of The Miracle courtesy of Lèrr. This Montenegrin DJ/Producer is recognised for his unique style combining groovy, deep, melodic, progressive vibes. His enchanting musical creations have appeared on Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue, Asymmetric, Trndmsk and more so far in 2020, and his deeply delicious reworking of The Miracle stands out as one of his finest yet.

A returning artist to the Meanwhile catalogues, Imran Khan makes his original EP debut with the label's twelfth offering, "Horizonz / Push Thru".

An artist who has seen his stock rise at considerable pace after a raft of original releases on Clinique Recordings in late 2016, Imran Khan has gone on to see his music featured on such esteemed imprints as Balkan Connection, Stellar Fountain and Proton Music. A pair of remixes of GMJ and Matter's "Lost on Origin" marked an impressive Meanwhile opening salvo in October 2020 as the UK star now returns with two sparking new original offerings.

Opening with "Horizonz", a light percussive line sits atop a trademark cone-melting bassline while a heavy kick nestles perfectly in between. Evolving in seamless style, ticking hi-hats add further to the relaxed groove before flowing pads and searing synth line shimmer in reverberated echo chamber manner to create an eerie and haunting atmosphere. A searing analogue lead makes its presence felt at the mid-point before a head-shaking dancefloor collage erupts in the third movement to scintillating effect; the result creating a stunning debut from the UK artist.

Continuing the cavernous bassline and deep rhythmic groove narrative, "Push Thru" cuts an intriguing figure as organic staccato sound pans the stereo spectrum in pitched tape delay. Surrounded by an array of innovative spot effects, a muted synth line wends its way over the sonic horizon, gradually rising with open filter and increased release envelope to create a sparkling crescendo jam-packed full of modern progressive house credentials. Reverting back to the seething bass groove post-breakdown, "Push Thru" showcases Imran Khan's skill and craftsmanship in lavish fashion
