Vernacular Records glad to announce the second opus of its series “Vernacular Fields” which aims to associate singular musical projects with the work of Franco-Armenian photographer Sarkis Torossian.
This second release, called Life Artefacts, is the first solo EP by Vernacular head Soul Edifice (FR). It’s a 4 tracks EP which oscillates between all his inspirations, recalling the different energies of his last releases and Dj sets. From Four to the floor Club Tracks to High Energy Jungle through Epic Breakbeats, this first solo EP is an hyper effective dance EP, however a concentrate of subtle production and sound design.
Label proud to renew collaboration with Sarkis Torossian on this second EP's artwork. His work combines multiples art techniques, from taking and developing analogue photos of landscapes, to a whole transformation process on the image including digital treatment, precise ink-mixing resulting in stunning, handmade monochromic prints.
As for the first opus, it's a limited series of 50 physical objects including:
- a unique visual made, print & numbered by hand by Sarkis Torossian
- a USB stick including Soul Edifice - Life Artefacts EP and a digital file of the artwork
All inserted in a 10” vinyl cover. The EP will also be available in digital format on french imprint Bandcamp.

Ghetto Culture is a series of releases inspired by ghetto house sound, techniques and feelings but reinterpreted in a modern way.
This first release is signed by Ghetto 25, the punk connexion between two mysterious french artist with only purpose of making unintelligent tracks for unintelligent people. Footwork,  hard twerk and champion league are their only goals for next seasons.
