Ultra smooth

'Revenge' contrasts with the rest of the EP in energy with its fast pace and sharp elements. Reminiscent of Juke/Footwork, crisp drum-machine hats and snares at around 160 BPM, it retains a european feel like previously showcased on Shake It Maschine & Mr.Pigman's 'Sky Simulator' LP, more melodic and maximal than its Chicago relative. The whole arrangement, crowned by Haze Lane's choice of vocal sample, inspires to fight with honour like shining knights, fearlessly diving head first into battle to take 'Revenge' against unbelievers.

After 2 years of free music, it only felt right that RAW Records' first distributed release came from its owners @thomas-white & @dearlola. Starting off with 2 collaborations that are "BB" and "I Know", the familiar elements are immediatly recognizable from their latest work. The pair weaves drum breaks, sub lines, and vocals (provided by Dear Lola) with their usual attention for details in a truly genre bending, almost jazzy approach to club music where the sharpness of machine drums is drowned in a rich palette of textures and organic percussions. Following this collaborative journey is Dear Lola's solo contribution to the release, the dark and brooding "Trippin", which he wrote and performed the vocals for, the result being this near-interlude that invites the listeners to smoke one up... Or two. Closing the originals chapter is Thomas with his own solo creation, the emotional "Give You Up", truly showcasing his mastery of drum breaks with one of the freshest selection of samples, completed with a bassline that simply cannot hold its place for more than a second and a very sharply auto-tuned and tearful vocal.
With some amazing remixes from @dave-luxe, @deadhorsebeats, @principal-dean and @simpig covering a wider spectrum of bass music and giving new life to the originals.

Information:
We have the honor of sharing the full tape with previous tracks that the very talented producer and composer from Darmstadt, Germany - Phizzy. The tape includes four amazing tracks that has been available only at his Soundcloud page and now is fully distributed on the label.

The sound is very powerful, and every song has been remastered for this release. We also had the chance of working with one of Frankfurt's great photographer named Vedad Coric who runs a really big Instagram and has worked with various big companies. He has directed and shot all the scenes in Phizzy's music video.

This will be the first part of the release. We have another tape with unpublished beats that will be distributed very soon, release date will be announced at Phizzy's twitter page. So stay tuned for that!
