With great enthusiasm we present to you our Hot Temptation EP, an homage to the NYC old school house sound.

The EP features the title track Hot Temptation; a piano anthem that gets a vocal infusion halfway during the break, right up to the end where the piano solo sets in.

The second track is called So Underground; an homage to the underground which features a bold classic vocal and our signature piano sound with solo. Both tracks will also featured a video, more on that later this month.

On remix duties we have The Bassment and Matthijs Gaikema aka Magama. The first is a well know underground house producer from Switzerland who has been making waves for himself with his tracks and remixes. Magama is a Dutch hidden gem on the EP, for his remix of So Underground he moves away from his downtempo sound and presents us with a melodic and driving remix that we we can't stop playing.

All tracks were mixed and mastered by Raw Underground at Lasercat studio's and will be released on january 18th 2014 on UndergroundSource Rec.

Jackies Music House Session #194 - "Raw Underground"

Raw Underground:
House music by Lukas Pauka & Jasper Wognum sharing their love for underground house music as Raw Underground.
Both guys' musical roots stem from the rich Amsterdam underground dance music scene from the 90's. Dancing and dj-ing at places like the Mazzo and Roxy. Combine this with a strong fascination for the New York house music scene from the same era and you understand why they are always pushing for driving grooves and musical sustenance.
In the last few years the duo has been fortunate enough to work with an amazing selection of heroes and talent. From collaborating with French superstar Sebb Junior to remixing none other than Ron Carrol to being remixed by UK house diva Sam Divine. Recent releases on labels like; Deepalma, King Street and W&O Street Tracks. The best is yet to come and they will keep on pushing their sound to playlists and stages around the world.
