DJ Domie has been spinning vinyl records since 2009. In recent years, she has moved away from the breakbeat tracks with which she entertained mainly clubbers in Prague, and embraced a more engaged approach to her playing. This shows up in her participation in free techno parties, where Domie's colorful sets create an atmosphere in which everyone is equal!

Raw Rave 04 - dj Domie

Nathan Solo is music producer, live act, and DJ. Coming from Prague warehouse techno scene. Active over nine years in underground techno, electro, ambient and similar genres of electronic music. Analog and digital.

He started his musical journey in 2013 as a member of live act duo Binar, that was closely related to Polygon - Prague warehouse techno movement. During that time he meet many influential artists that deeply affected his music taste and inspired his own productions.
Producers like Kangding Ray, Vril, Sleeparchive, or Karenn might not seem too close to Nathan’s music but their imprint is noticeable in some parts of Nathan’s work.

His studio recordings are thoroughly researched works of precision with a little dose of experiment. When playing music live, however, he works with trial and error attitude. Nathan is researching what the machines want to say and creating man machine dialogue. Live jam or hardware improvisation one would say. His live music is an eclectic mix of moods and styles, from deep melancholic ambient textures to broken electronic music, from minimalistic bleepy techno patterns to faster tempo bangers full of distorted sounds. Nathan works with layers, textures and walls of sound, that are blending together to become a self healing journey both for him and his audience.

Outside the music world, Nathan Solo goes by the name Matěj Moravec. His daytime job is graphic design. His influence on Prague music scene is not only sonic, but visual as well – he often provides visuals for various Prague based collectives. Most notably for the XYZ Project run by Oliver Torr or recent work on Endless Illusion new website and last release of the head of the label – Exhausted Modern. The career of a graphic designer was the key reason for him to move to Lausanne in 2017. Nathan currently lives and works there. 

Analog media lovers will certainly be interested in the cassette, which was released last summer on his own newly emerging label Solo Catalogue.

Dj Conspira has been on the scene since two decades ago. "The dance scene has changed over time. After 00´s euphoria slowly changed towards conformism and lost its specific social and revolutionary character. Originally an avantgarde and emancipatory movement was replaced by flat entertainment for consumers and mass events resembling cheap village parties with carousels. The rebelion stems from this feeling of dissatisfaction."He met group of musically and ideologically close people and friends during occupation of the Klinika squat in Prague. Together they created RAW rave collective in which his ideas about the dance scene come into reality. Conspira is inspired mainly by sound of Berlin, Detroit and early UK hardcore techno/rave movement.

Raw Rave 07 - Conspira

DJ Theresia SUN aka THRSN is a music project by artist called Soaki Delayer. He would like to point out the existence of different genders, sexual orientations and that there is no need to be ashamed. He would like to inspire people to mutual tolerance and respect.

Theresia loves straight beats and in her own production she blends various forms of house, deephouse and downtempo. This project is now in its infancy, but the future is open.

Soaki Delayer has been involved in independent music since 1998, starting like hiphop rap, beat making & djing. Even then, he was simultaneously interested in techno but the breaking point coming with new millennium. His dissatisfaction with the development of the rap culture crystallized and he leave this scene, and looking for something different. In 2004 began as a liveset performer in the freetechno based Fanatic Flashinet crew, where he still works. After hundreds of parties he decided for founded his own independent brand TRIBE MOOD recordz, at the end of 2020. He began releasing his new work on this label, such as various forms of house, techno, acid, but also downtempo and trip hop, accompanied by vocals and musical instruments.
Especially for Raw Rave, Theresia chose the techno set with a light acid flavor and minimal. "Wish you good listening and keep freedom in your hearts."

Raw Rave 08 - THRSN

Year 1997, the underground techno parties of czech sound systems Mayapur, Technical Support and Cirkus Alien, had influenced his musical and intellectual attitude. Being interested in a lot in electronic dance music he took a two-month course of Djing for beginners in 1999, where he actually touched decks and dj mixer for the first time. After realising that he does not want to be just a party-goer but wants to take an active part in organising parties, he bought a dj setup and, according to his clear idea and musical taste, selects vinyls and begins to develop his own sound, which he describes as "music with soul" or "colorful techno”. His involvement in Prague’s now non-existent record store TSP vinyl shop also contributed to his musical inspiration.
In 2000, Dj Ghandi, together with his closest friends, founded Spiritual Sound System, which is still very active nowadays, and has a long list of past successful parties all over the Czech Republic. Spiritual sound system originated from the love of music and the friendship of the people who make up this sound system. Those two important principles are reflected in the vibe of the Spiritual parties.
Another important moment came in 2008, when he co-founded the regular radio show Acidelika on Prague’s Radio 1 station, which in 2011 transforms into regular club parties and an outdoor festival hosting lots of foreign guests. Dj Ghandi feels very honored to play alongside his many role-model djs and producers such as Neil Landstrumm, Dapayk, Bruno Pronsato, Radioactive man, Jerome Hill, Paul Birken, Ben Pest, Lukes Anger, Tobias Schmidt, Dave Tarrida and others.
After 21 years of active djing, Dj Ghandi remains faithful to playing from records despite all the music technology advancements. He's never focused on one musical genre, so you can hear him playing styles such as oldschool acid techno, minimal, tech-house, but also raw breaks and slow oldschool electro.

He has always enjoyed and found it more meaningful to play varied music that has soul and a story behind it. He remembers doing his first event 20 years ago with the Spiritual sound system, how some people were annoyed to the point of outrage that he was playing slowly. At that time, the soundsystems were monotonous, hard and fast techno with a few dnb sounds in between. He didn't care at all and stuck to his taste and direction, no matter what the result. Today he is very happy for that. "People should do things the way they feel and not conform to trends." DJ Gándhí concludes.

Raw Rave 09 - Dj Ghándí

Krabs is a beatmaker and DJ from Brno. He is one of the founding members of Explicit Sound. His sound is influenced by hard drum, ballroom, juke, breaks, baile funk and jersey club. The result is tracks and sets that go across multiple genres and break down boundaries between genres. In addition to producing and DJing, he has recently been producing this blend of electronic music live using hardware synthesizers and sequencers.

Jiri Neumann born in 1987 and he has very soon discovered his serious interrest in electronic music. "Thanks everything to older brother."
He also liked 60s and 70s music bands, classic electronic projects and of course Techno producents.
He remained open to any composition with dynamic athmosphere and bright ideas. He never rejectet any other music styles but electronic music remained as own of his main interrests.
Since 2001 in his 14 years he slowly opened doors to arts of music production.Jiri first attempts started with audio programs Reason,Fl Studio etc.
And later he approached to HW synth, Drum Machines and Modular System and various DAW and VST programs.
It was his 16 years when he proactively joined first parties and while playing mainly from vinyls he also discovered his hobby in collecting and trading with them.
His collection contains hundreds of vinyls but these days he rather use NI Kontrol S8 whit Traktor Studio and NI Maschine too.
That gave him ability to demonstrate his own productions and mixing techniques that are provided by digital systems.
From 2002 he started playing with Prague sound systems and later also opportunities to play in various European countries.
From 2018 he started released under a name X-302.His firts EP (X-302-Black Block EP) was released by Elektrax Rec. and then followed releases on Labels (Neurom Rec.,Dirty Corner,Industrial Techno United,etc...)
Another of his projects were Kmt Punk(Acid Core and Industrial Techno).
His alter ego Jack Cinch that for some time presented in various music clubs and also used to produce next Electronic Styles like House,Electro,DnB etc...
The latest of his projects under name Space M that led to production of Ambient,Chill Out and Trip Hop.
Electronic music has become his lifestyle and a neverending love-mission, of course connected with specific life style.

Nuel is a DJ and producer originally from Tel Aviv, currently based in Prague. We exchanged a few messages and quickly found out that we have a great understanding of the form of techno. Raw Rave 13 - Nuel

It all started when, as a little punk walking his dog, he discovered a small freeparty outside of town. Relaxed atmosphere and a bunch of unusual tech. Lights, sound and electronic music... just magic. Everything fell into place. Not long after that came first turntables, first techno and breaks vinyls, first speakers and first playing. Travelling around Europe's Technivals led him to the newly formed autonomous centre Klinika in Prague, where he met similarly crazy friends and together they founded Raw Rave. The main goal is to give techno its voice and originality back. It's been a few years but it's still going. Here you go - ELDATEL.

Raw Rave 14 - Eldatel

It started in small villages around Ostrava, where local boys played d'n'b music from vinyls and held small parties. Not far from the native village, larger techno parties were held regularly. At a very young age, she found that electronic music was very close to her and she attended events a lot. A few years later she moved to Prague and started organizing events with the GrankoSoundMakers sound system, a few months later she stood for the first time behind the turntables and found her biggest hobby. Since then, she with the sound system, and also alone has managed travel to lot of events and places in Czechia and a part of Europe with her vinyl suitcase and hopes that this was just the beginning of her journey. "The only place I can turn off my mind completely is behind the turntables and with knowing, that people are enjoying."

Raw Rave 15 - Nick Ita

This DJ and producer, his own name is Jaroslav Konečný, was born on 13th August 1987 in Trebic and grew up in nearby Náměšt' nad Oslavou.
He got into electronic music thanks to his older brother who listened to house music.

His first musical attempts were made on the PSI console in the Music 2000 program, where he tried to create his first beats, initially influenced by the freetechno sound, and later by club techno. 
Since at that time there were no platforms like Spotify and no proper playlists, he was mainly inspired by listening. 

"I never liked to create only one style and always tried to create an original sound according to my mood" 

He has several regular albums to his credit in addition to several EP's . His current inspirations include game music. Of note is the remix of the Fallout 4 soundtrack.
  
"I wish my music would reach a wider audience, be played more at events and get more feedback."

TRNSGRSS, was raised from an early age within a musical family, developing skills in piano, composition and musical techniques for 10 years. Upon reaching the age of 16 he diversified his musical tastes in many genres, taking the first touch with Techno and club music. In 2015 he started a Techno project in south Spain, 'Structured'. The motivation was clear: bring Techno music in a way that wasn't out there, getting started in his born city, Malaga. This weekly residency gave to Transgressor the perfect place to express his musical taste and his influences, connecting with the crowd, growing and getting experience in each gig. By the mid of the year, he shared line-ups with some of the most proliphic artists in the south of Spain: Aphonico, Rafa Cardenas, Alex Mor, Unsigned Mind, Joy Hübner..
Also known as Otto Garcia, he adopted "Transgressor" as artist name, by the time he accomplished his best line on his sets, mixing dark, industrial and analog Techno.

L.Luminate is an Industrial Hardcore DJ based in Prague. Her style is an amalgamation of various influences coming mostly from the underground and alternative music. She has grown up with punk and metal music so she has always gravitated towards the non conforming sounds. Raw Rave 18 - L.Luminate

S-HE is a project by Šimon Hrábek from his fictitious label PURGATORIUM, where he also meets noise project the HANGMAN and post-punk project the SUBTERRANEAN. In the case of S-HE, it is a project focused on guilty pleasure music and thematically it relates mainly to the issues of binary perception of the world and also to the exploration of kitsch. This hybrid "RAW" set is built on bizarre combinations on the edge of aesthetic and trash and is also linked to the promotion of tracks from the project's latest album.

Qydo is a techno geek who has been in the underground techno community for over a decade. First memories are certainly connected with the Up Labs sound system, then KMT Punx. We must also remember the Modgate project, which he co-created with A3D 747 for a while. It was an excellent modular techno live project focused on raw analog techno sound. During the lockdown Qydo was saving us with his online dj stream from his camper truck and now he is here with a recording of his latest live set. Enjoy.

Masha Jade is an aspiring DJ from Kyiv, currently based in Köln, Germany.
First got acquainted with techno in 2017, the time of such parties as SXEMA, Technologiya, Osnova. It was the Kyiv techno scene of this period that made her fell in love with electronic music.

Skliba, AZYL family rave daddy, came from California to Prague to fuck up the underground techno scene with psychedelic colors and good vibes. Formerly a liveset producer, now he mostly focuses his energy on organizing events and creating opportunities for other talents to learn and grow. To him, the underground scene isn't only about partying hard, but a vehicle for social change and a way to resist the status quo. Here is Phenox, producer and DJ from Italy. He started with music in the illegal rave scene around Milano and after a few years, he and his crew decided to start Repartee Recordz in 2018, an independent label that shares different sounds, from Tribe to Electro and more. He now lives in Paris, where he discovered the local distinct underground techno movement that influences his music production and DJ sets, all mixed with Tribe Techno influences that come from his roots.

Creating most of the loops, beats and rhythms live on the stage, with some help of stolen samples from the old Czechoslovakian pop hits. Based in Prague with South Moravian ancestry, he tweaks the knobs and hits the keys since 2011, occasionally performing with a singer Ella CR, and you can also find him as a half of the noise-pop duo "Monstra". Raw Rave 27 - Zí

Fascinated in ritual gatherings. They were there thousands year ago, they are now in a form of rave party nowadays. Trance in front of a wall of speakers next to your loved ones is a purifying moment that can recharge our life energy to survive in this estranged world. And Dj Dzony59 always wanted to be a part of it. After visiting pacifist and d.i.y. techno parties outdoors and in prague squats back in 2007 he bought his first vinyls and together with dj B4nan they founded Quantum59 sound system. Many of other friends got involved and together they made and participated in dozens of memorable events between years 2008 and 2017. After strong self-assesment while contributing in a collective of squat Klinika he realized that things went too far off his expectations and fundamental beliefs of how the anti-authoriatirian and egalitarian collectives should work, he decided to leave this group and started his attempts to cooperate with other utopian collectives that he had luckily met so far.
Now he is a dj that will never give up his collection of vinyl records, containing mostly acid techno, oldschool rave, acid house and will always be there to pump the bass and enjoy the life energy that rave brings.

It all started when he first heard Propellerheads from his brothers. It started a story that's been going on ever since. It didn't take long for him to buy his first records after DJ BeerTazz introduced him to mixing on gramophones. Raised by R2D2 family soundsystem, and having found himself being in harmony with vibes of freetechno and DIY, he develepod a unique taste for dance music that is reflected in diversity of genres that he likes to bring on the dancefloor and that could be heard in many Prague clubs including Fuchs2, Bike Jesus, Cross club and Underdogs. Few years ago he decided to side with Raw Rave because soundsystem with roots based in anti-authorian and squatting culture. And these aspects are also very important to him at the rave movement. Hrrhrrrrhrrr  is an enby queer dj based currently in Ústí nad Labem. Part of the SPEED DATE collective and Ústecký pride. Quite active but not very visible. They likes nasty tracks, orange colour and parties with fresh FLINTA+ line-ups. They has been djing since 2020 and hopes that they will still enjoy it for at least another 23 years. Alex Spacetime is dj and producer from Russia\Sankt-Petersburg based in Germany\Flensburg. Starting with the organization of underground punk concerts and out-of-town festivals in the early 2010s, he smoothly moved from participating in punk bands to the culture of underground electronic music. From heavy metal chords and blast beats, the transformation led Alex to melodic and dark electronic music. During the last years of his life in Russia he organized small partyes called "Technopunks". At the beginning of 2020, he came to play in Prague at a party from "Raw Rave" crew, and at the beginning of the year he began to study mixing from vinyl records and spent the whole year practicing and collecting a vinyl collection. Also in Flensburg, Alex organizes a radio program "Sententia:Electronica" on free radio "Fratz". This podcast is made especially for friends from "Raw Rave" and is the third in a row. Raw Rave 01 - Alex Spacetime

TRANSFORMATOR liveACT is a solo analogue/hardware/DAWLESS project found by Peter Simon.
Everything is being played live without triggering from external devices such as laptop or software but playing an actual instruments themselves, specifically MOOG Little Phatty and Roland TR-8 and few fx pedals.
Pumping continuous spacey techno groove is endless transformation expressing Peters’ deep moods happening in momentum of performance, celebrating and honoring a magic of present moment, life and connection with his audience...

Builds up sound by sound, tone after tone, expands wider and wider when suddenly tightens it entirely, plays around with it, then breaks it down into fragments where something new is starting again...  Hmmmm... Transformation... 

Peter grew up in purely instrumental backround (grunge/rock/punk/reggae), later evolved through jungle, hip-hop, funk, "broken beat" dnb into the world of house and techno.

With zero musical education mastered multiple instruments purely on his own. 
Due to his flexible style performed with many bands and acts as percussionist (djembe/cajon) rocked on stages and even street performances and bands.

"When I got to DJaying, I was never fulfilled with buying tracks and just mixing stuff from some other artists. Imho it just feeled almost too easy! So I thought better mix my own tracks, right?
 And then I saw this random guy in a backstage, jamming live only with pocket size Korg Kaossilator!"

So Peter started collecting Korgs' toys, learned everything about Kaossilators and Electribes and their limits. Thanks to them he's learned to some synthesis basics.
Until the day, he had an opportunity to touch MOOG synth for the first time...
Felt in love immediatelly, switched 5 korgs for moog and drummachine  (yes, only two instruments) and from there goes this liveset that U hear.

Peter believes that music/sound, momentum of creation is an essential foundation for life to exist and he performs to honour it.
