This week’s Local Selection Mix comes from Infiltrator FKA Adamant. Infiltrator has pieced together a blistering hour of groove infused techno, shifting the energy up and down, keeping the listeners on alert at all times.

FKA Adamant, Infiltrator recently announced his move to faster and tougher territories with his new techno driven alias. The Sonic Intel label head takes a blend of past influences to create a groove infused techno style. Tracks and sets alike, Infiltrator delivers clean blends, high energy and subliminal grooves. 

The Infiltrator outfit boasts a debut album release, “Memory”, a sturdy foundation for a very busy 2022. His debut album lyes alongside a fully wealth of unreleased material sits that is set for 2022.

Infiltrator is recently on the back of two closing sets in Limerick and Index Room 2 in Dublin. Infiltrator’s high octane sound has been translating from production right through to his DJ set’s.

Infiltrator’s Local Selection mix is a carefully crafted mix of fast paced techno, moving through vintage classics and modern tools. An energetic groove that is irresistible, tough, infectious and groovy. This is the good stuff.

Fast and unrelenting that's we got to say about this closing set of our club night in the Spacebar. We we're super excited to see what teaming up JOZO and Viénce would result in and they definitely delivered!

This set was recorded live at our first club night at Spacebar Enschede on the 20th of may 2022, and is part of a series of sets that will be released throughout the coming weeks.

The primer of techno was barely dry or England already had its own variant of the genre: UK techno. Original Man by British producer Dave Angel is perhaps the perfect example of what that variant sounded like, back then. If only you knew where to find it. The single was released in 1993 on a record label that has long since ceased to exist.

Fortunately, Utrecht-based record label SoHaSo made this transverse techno-soul classic is available again, in a punchy remaster. With its juxtaposed rhythm programming and orchestral arrangements, Original Man still lives up to its title, even if it is 30 years later.

On the flip you'll find Quarter Pounder. With its nervous hi-hats and high paced rhythms, this seems like the perfect soundtrack for a highway chase between two roadhouses.

As a bonus, SoHaSo has supplemented the vinyl version of this EP with a rare Dave Angel track which also was released back in 1993 on French dance label FNAC. It's called 4th Symphony and ticks all the right techno boxes: strings, hihats and a melancholic melody.
