Written for my younger brother Tom, who died two years ago, and for my older brother Matt, who died thirty-six years ago.  And for my life in-between.

The lyrics were prompted by a certain political faction -- and their leader -- who believe that America's best days are in the past, rather than the future.  Musically, it's straight-up garage rock.

"We Dance on Our Grave" started with the bass line, which I've been playing around with for years.  Over the last few months, I created guitar parts (acoustic and electric), a bass line, drum beat (of course), a keyboard underlay, and lyrics.  Lyrically, it's a take on our seemingly inevitable apocalypse -- with a particular focus on the environmental damage we're doing.   My friend Charles sings on the chorus.
