Can you eat parsley all lonely? 
As the alpha castrated butterfly male flirts with dreams of the salted nectar of time 
O monstrous bird, the peacock will feel in you! 
Damn you.

Brown bread and snails 
A blue house cannot be happy

This song is part of Checkpoint 303's latest EP release entitled "Sidi Bouzid Syndrome". 

Duration: 4:32 / Released: 03.2012 / Al Dik (engl. The Rooster) uses excerpts from 
two poems by the late Syrian Poet Nizar Qabbani, in which he explicitly and satirically criticizes arab dictators,  state violence, tyranny and military repression.

Full 60 min recording of a DJ set performed by Checkpoint 303 at London's Brixton Academy, opening for a Massive Attack show in Feb 2007. The mix features raw tunes with roots in contemporary Arabic underground, New York electronica and Manchester avant-garde. An urban mix of electronic percussions and oriental melodies blended with field recordings straight out of the sonic landscape of the Middle East. This mix also features a few tracks from CP-303's early releases.
