Commissioned to highlight the label's milestone release, MOOD have pulled out every single stop possible with some of the most exciting and innovative names of all time and every shade of the techno palette is splashed across this epic eight track trove. The one and only Danny Tenaglia takes us back to Twilo with his hip-swinging bassline and hypnotic prowess; the unstoppable tech house duo Solardo get twisted with just the right levels of jack attack; Truncate fixes our focus on the visceral physical techno energy; Trunkline get carnal with a tribal rawness; Black Asteroid super-charge the groove with a palpable electric sizzle; Raxon flips the groove into a driven, warm techno roller that doesn't quit from here till next Tuesday.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ ALAN BACKDROP

Straight from Northern Italy, Alessio Meneghello or better known for his moniker Alan Backdrop, has been alluring his listeners through his productions characterized with deep atmospheres and a mixture of different genres. Simply put, Alan’s fascination is a reflection of his passion for electronic music and inspiration he gets from the world around.
He is the kind of producer that certainly enjoys his studio jam sessions—this is the reason why he spends most of the time in his studio tweaking knobs on synthesizers, recording and experimenting with the aim to capture and create his exceptional sound.
Alan Backdrop released his debut album, VR Plan, in 2013 on Prologue, an album that includes some of his pioneering tracks, such as “Cherber,” “Medel,” and “Siere.” Shortly, he managed to create his second album, Eria, released in 2014 on Ekar Records, label and platform with which he has a long-lasting relationship and where he released a big part of his discography. He recently joined Mental Modern and Semantica Records where he kicked out some 12".
Alessio's side project is a_000, born from the unprompted come across of him and Enrico Rlt, which resulted in the creation of "Road to Nauta", the very first wax from Ekar Records and "Ness Reworks 001", a 12" containing two original tracks plus two remixes from the label founder and friend Ness.
In addition to spending most of the time in his studio, Alan Backdrop performs in various festivals—the latest in which he performed were Modem Festival and Parallel— and in different clubs and musical events. Fascinated by electronic music and concentrated in the realization of atmospheric musical journeys is the best way to describe Alan Backdrop.

SPACE IS THE PLACE_A scfi techno mix

Neben Jazzgesang und Darkwave entwickelte Medha früh eine Leidenschaft für technoide Musik. Geprägt durch die Berliner
und Leipziger Clubszene, insbesondere das Institut für Zukunft, entwickelte sie ihre eigenen Vorstellung ihre Leidenschaft
zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Mit prägnanten Basslines, impulsiven Rhythmen und repetetiven Sounds bildet sie einen
endlosen Drive der immer zum Ziel hat, Zuhörer zum tanzen zu bewegen. Seit über einem Jahr ist sie außerdem fester
Bestandteil des PVC Kollektivs. Wir haben sie in Leipzig kennengelernt und sie kurz darauf eingeladen um bei uns zu spielen. Daraus wurden jetzt schon mehrere meetings und endlich gibt es nun auch den ersten Podcast von ihr. Viele, Vielen Dank dafür!

In addition to jazz singing and darkwave, Medha developed a passion for technoid music early on. Influenced by
the Berlin and Leipzig club scene, especially the Institut für Zukunft, she developed her own idea of expressing her
passion. With concise basslines, impulsive rhythms and repetitive sounds she creates an endless drive that always
aims to make listeners dance. Leipzig based she has also been an integral part of the PVC collective for over a year. 
We met her in Leipzig and invited her shortly after to play with us. This turned into several meetings and finally we got her first podcast. Many, many thanks for that!

We're thrilled to anounce our second guest for vinculum podcast series. Ray Kajioka - a German Techno producer, DJ and Live Act since 1995. Best known for his works on Kanzleramt, most notably for his tunes "Spark" and "Thrill", which became huge hits and have been listed in many DJ charts since. 
Also, Kajioka is known for his release "Never Ending" on Cocoon Recordings, as well as remixes for Truncate, Joel Mull, Elbee Bad, Alexander Kowalski, Heiko Laux, Tom Hades, Housemeister, Victor Calderone, DJ T-1000 and more. A distinguishing and striking aspect of his music is certainly the warm spheric and impulsive sound, which is constantly present in all of his productions. Ray's live and DJ-performance encompasses all the elements of today's modern Techno and House music, but has its feet firmly planted in the roots of the Detroit-vibe. This is, undoubtedly, the best gift we can give you. Enjoy!
