Erika Andrea Murcia Ruiz born in Bogota, Colombia to a family of singers and percussionists, she develops her musical culture with the artistic experimentation of instruments such as guitar, percussion, and particularly in the field of brass with the trumpet.
In 2010 she moved to Italy and approached the world of electronic music with a particular predilection for mixing through vinyl.
She spent her adolescence in a studio and record store in Genoa and then performs in several clubs in the area.
RUIZ OSC1 collaborates with various clubs, festivals, radios and labels in Italy, Colombia, Germany, Spain, Ukraine, UK. Currently she is part of the collective Deestricted based in Berlin and in parallel she works on production projects under the name OSC1 with different characters of the electronic music scene.
In 2021 thanks to the collaboration of other people belonging to the electronic scene in Turin gives life to her new format Resonate.
She calls herself varied in her genre of production and expression and in her sets he promotes Groove techno, House, Trance, Breaks and Electro ranging from 130 to 150 bpm.
