Two years ago, we decided to launch a new compilation series to bring positive vibes to the techno community during summer times, when the world used to lock up. Today, the balance is still not good. More than ever, we believe that we must support each other and stand together.

Let’s shine even brighter with the 3rd edition of RAW Summer Hits featuring 13 brilliant tracks in different kinds of electronic music and a big charity project arising from it. 

Indeed, your support on the first two Summer Hits made us realize the power of such a project. So this year, the compilation remains free, but for those who can afford to make any donation, proceeds will equally go to the following 4 NGOs:

• Fondation Des Femmes (women's rights and the fight against violence)
• CARE (international humanitarian solidarity association)
• CliMates (think tank specialized in climate change)
• L214 (animal welfare)

Taking the reigns on the debut release for Rave Selekts the two guys range from heavy pounding industrial techno to jungle & hardcore influenced techno. Brisbane based ambassadors of genre fusing techno X CLUB. make their anticipated EP debut with ’SCUM’. Shifting between hasty breaks and propulsive 4/4 kicks, the EP focuses upon a definitive neo-futuristic rave sound inspired by a combination of 90s rave, jungle, electro and warehouse techno. Amongst clear hints of nostalgic influence, X CLUB. have involved a quantitive level of abrasive digital and analogue sound design in sculpting their signature techno-grime texture. Featuring four dynamic heaving club cuts, ‘SCUM’ explores tones of darkness while inducing a trance-like sense of euphoria. Blasts of contorted synth tones rage against mechanic percussive rhythms manifesting the scene of a dystopian industrial rave set neither in the past nor future.

‘SCUM’ is officially set for release on July 2nd via Earthed.

For our second release we bring back Tommy Holohan's infamous rave track "Subaru Impreza" finally to be pressed onto wax. Holohan also brings back "Costa Del Rush" an old school early 2000s inspired techno piece and "South Beach Burnin Bins", a peak time jungle influenced banger with a remix by the headstrong duo, Clouds.
