The 9th release of NEED features a very exciting artist from the US. Ky William delivers 2 original tracks which both stand out on their own. 
On the A-side there is the catchy 'House Record', a track which is clearly influenced by the old school house sound, with a modern drive. The tasteful vocals make it a track to build your set around, and will get the hand up in the air. For the remix on 'House Record' we have non other than PARKER. Being one of the most promising talents down under with his succesfull productions and own events, he brings organic drums and his signature sound to the track.

The B side is the stripped down 'Afterbeat'. Being beat driven with a heavy sub bassline, this record will work well on the big soundsystems. Besides the bass driven groove the track stays classy with deep and lush pads, which create interesting soundscapes and make this a record that will fit in many sets.

Keeping this warm this winter, Seb Zito’s Seven Dials Records imprint drops the hot new Dubaholics EP from Ozzie Guven 

Ozzie Guven is fast becoming a key figure in the roaring UK underground dance scene. It has seen Ozzie already land 2 Beatport Number One Releases, with tracks signed to highly revered labels: Whippin, Reecords, BeeYou, Pitch, Surge, Rendr, Habits, Whoyostro, Hungarian Hot Wax & more. 

His debut release on Zito’s Seven Dials imprint see’s Guven deliver a delectable 3 tracker of club ready music, two minimal deep tech tracks and a third track in a breakbeat garage flavour. 

The first and title track on the EP is ‘Dubaholics’. As the name suggests, this track has a strong feel of dub behind its well executed deep minimal tech beats which combined with garage flavours that Zito’s imprint is well known for. This is a slick number combining various genres all in one killer dance floor track. 
Next up is ‘Brass Disk’ with its skipping hi’s and low slung sub bass, this delivers a more traditional minimal deep tech track, showing Guven’s talents from producing tracks across genres, whilst using sounds from various genres yet with a continuity to them that they sound like they belong together.

If there ever would be a secret password to sneak into Reecords parties, that would be funk. Following their gigantic release earlier last year, the ADEZ boys team up with the boss, Reelow, for their first-ever collaborative effort. The result is this incredibly well-crafted EP called Funk The Pump, and as the name suggests - its pretty much what everyone was expecting. Four tracks for four bouncy, skippy and driving originals that bring together rubbery basslines, epic vocals, chunky grooves, and a lot of fun on the dancefloor. Let there be... funk!

The next release on Libero comes by way of DJ Entwan and Alberto Cristian. The collaborative '7am' EP features two original tracks, along with remixes from Enrico Bellan and Dan Barrientos.

The title track opens up the release with a simple yet potent groove. Featuring a generous amount of Libero characteristics, '7am' is an enjoyable terrace track with subtle hints of flair and captivating energy - broken up by creative bridges, adding atmosphere and perpetual flow.

Enrico Bellan follows on with a remix of '7am' that takes things a touch deeper. Darker, late-night tones and extra vocal layers accompany a stripped-back approach to the original track. An eerie adaptation with substantial amounts of groove and class.

'Shake' sports another rolling bassline with strong percussive factors and punchy drums laid over the top. A solid combination of rhythm, melody and vocal presence, bundled up to create a movement-inspiring end product that demonstrates the duo's Libero Sound.

Dan Barrientos rounds up the release with his remix of the b-side. A more uptempo approach to the original masterfully blended with many of the initial traits of its predecessor. A big-room adaptation, bursting at the seams with peak-time energy and Dan's trademark percussive flair.
