Druid - Textures

We’ve teamed up with Dutch producer and sound designer Santpoort for our next pack, which features a collection of sounds crafted during the creation of his latest album, ‘Maybe Not Tomorrow.’ The pack includes 14 drum loops, 11 percussion loops, 15 melodic loops, 10 melodic textures, 16 sonic textures, 16 drum one-shots, 5 FX one-shots, and 13 foley one-shots.

Santpoort: "The ‘For Tomorrow’ sample pack is a dive into the sounds I recorded for my sophomore album Maybe Not Tomorrow—the follow-up to my 2021 album Ocean Tales. The album is based on the sounds of the city and garden elements within an urban setting. I recorded a bunch of my garden pots and sampled objects I found in the trash or on the street—anything abandoned that spoke to me in a musical way. I found old pistachio shells and put them in a Pringles can, discovered an old fidget spinner, and many kids' toys among the garbage people put out on the street, and then recorded these to create a better future for ourselves.

We also live in a world where we use a lot of single-use packaging, and I wanted to give these objects a second chance to be used, preserving some of their utility for tomorrow. In the end, the purpose of these samples is to give the music and sounds of the album a second life, offering the producers of Chillhop Music something for tomorrow too."
