['Former Electronic Work PT.01. 2002 – 2006']

The first 4 albums from the Rawtekk History Collection shaped the band's foundations from various interests. ['Open Borders'] was the breakthrough from the conventions around them with an eye on current developments from Great Britain. ['About'] saw the unveiling of depths of sentiment and contemplation unfold. Bolcher was a Sunday fun-day creative session that turned into so much more. ['Drum 'n' Bass Work PT.01 2002 – 2004'] embodied their passion for gritty, underground clubs and profound spiritual experiences.

Rawtekk's view was, in the alternative subculture, Drum And Bass, Breakbeat, and Downtempo should be allowed to coexist. Therefore, their Electronic Work was showcasing their dedication towards Electronic Art Music. This field meant so much to them because it was very free, allowing that much more creativity to flourish and thrive.

This album represents the other vital foundation of Rawtekk's existence. As such, it served as a guiding influence for subsequent works such as ['Halo'], ['Ventricle'], ['My Love'], ['Merry Anna'], and ['Aeons'].

Some gems have been salvaged from tape or DAT recordings. Particularly in the alternate versions, one can vividly observe the evolving nature of the songs, unveiling the various production processes that took place. It's a window into Rawtekk's experimental journey.

['Former Electronic Work PT.02. 2013 - 2016']

This album compiles Rawtekk's first batch of all-time 'Electronic Work' favorites from ['Sprouted and Formed'] and ['Here’s To Them'] into a collection. A few tracks from these LPs, such as ['My Love'], had been somewhat overlooked, and not prominently featured anywhere, until now.

Tracklist & Information:

['Aeons (Revised)']: The ending underwent recomposition with added strings and synths. A rework on the breakdown was executed, with new mastering and louder vocals.The song offers refuge on multiple levels. Initially, it extends solace to either each listener or a specific person, leaving it open. Shared devotion creates a space free from illusion, resulting in a spiritual dimension void of mediocrity. Another layer involves a cosmic perspective, encompassing cycles we join by overcoming doubts—an immersion into eternity. It can be an abstract idea or a manifestation of an Earth goddess urging protection. Simultaneously, it's an earthly call to bravely confront life's challenges, stay true, surrender in love, and decisively follow one's path.

['Anywhere (Remastered)']: Mix and mastering is new.
The quest for finding one's mind and self becomes a desperate plea to reclaim a sense of existence even in the absence of physical life. The repeated declarations of being "anywhere" reflect a disconnection from a specific place or reality, perhaps alluding to a state of limbo or the transcendent nature of existence after life. Overall, the lyrics paint a picture of a soul grappling with the profound implications of having departed from the living world, yet still yearning for a semblance of identity and purpose.

['My Love (Remastered)']: Mix and mastering is new.

['KIA (Remastered)']: The vocals are now louder, and the drums and mix now sound cleaner, in line with our original vision.

['High (Revised)']: The vocals are now louder. In the previous version, the telephone effect felt like it lasted too long. Specific percussion elements were also removed.
The lyrics convey a sense of nostalgia and longing for a past experience, possibly during the summertime. The imagery of an icicle tear being melted away suggests a desire to erase sadness or regrets. The mention of brewing beer and getting high, along with references to dancing and laughter, reflects a carefree and euphoric atmosphere associated with a bygone era, leaving the singer feeling alive and free from fear.

['Ventricle (Remastered)']: Mix and mastering is new.

['Halo Feat Thomas Burhorn (Revised)']: Mix, mastering, and breakdown were revised, with added sounds and strings at the end. Thomas' trumpet is now louder and mixing has been improved.

['Merry Anna (Revised)']: Mix and mastering is new. Sounds from the Roland Jupiter 4 are more heavily overdriven, providing a more aggressive and dramatic mix.
"Merry Anna" explores a complex relationship inspired by the babbling sounds of a baby's first syllables and the celebration of ancient female names like Anna, Maria, or Marianne. The lyrics combine moments of joy, expressed through playful variations of the name, with a sense of tragedy conveyed by phrases like "Within bold humanity" and the lines expressing the inevitability of separation: "Carry me, Don't leave me, As you lose me, We burst asunder fatefully." The song thus encapsulates the bittersweet nature of a deep and intense connection.

['Nonentity (Remastered)']: Mix and mastering is new.

['Snowflakes Ambient Version (Remastered)']: Mix and mastering is new. It now boasts a softer and overall more pleasant sound.

This album compiles Rawtekk's second batch of all-time 'Electronic Work' favorites from ['Sprouted and Formed'] and ['Here’s To Them'] into a collection. ['Dark Energy Feat Audeka (Reworked)']: The mixing and mastering underwent significant renewal, encompassing three weeks of work. The drums were entirely reworked, exhibiting a more restrained sound, allowing them to cut through better and offering more breathing space. The remixed vocals are louder, and new sub-basses were incorporated. The soundscape outro received a new mix, rerouted differently and with less limiting.

['Here's To Them (Remastered)']: Remixed with louder vocals and new mastering.
"Here's To Them" symbolizes Rawtekk's dedicated expression to its listeners, portraying an artist's conquest over obstacles while occasionally losing oneself. The dedication explores struggles for authenticity and self-recovery, depicted through lines like "Claiming back - recovering my voice, Over and over - facing Hobson’s choice."

['Aftermath (Remastered)']: Mix and mastering are new.

['A Magnanimous Kind's Will (Remastered)']: Significant improvements with louder vocals and a mix aligned with ['Here's To Them']. The lyrics convey a message of liberation, rejecting constraints on the body and mind, celebrating a spirit of emancipation and the pursuit of emotional and physical well-being.

['Walkabout (Reworked)']: The mix and mastering are new, enhancing the sound clarity and space, previously affected by over-limiting and a phase issue.

['Skrotum Left Its Dwelling (Reworked)']: Revitalized with an entirely new mix and mastering, an added section, and a new bass drum, delivering more punch and heightened adrenaline.

['Solar Grace Feat Audeka (Revised)']: New mix, mastering, and vocals.

['Former Drum & Bass Work PT.08. 2013 - 2017']

This release stands out as another cherished Drum and Bass album from the band. In contrast to ['Former Drum & Bass Work PT.08 2013 - 2017'], which exclusively blends Drum and Bass tracks from two albums released on Hospital, every song on this album stems from different creative eras between 2013-2016 and were released across various labels on LP and EPs. Many have vocal contributions, all have been diligently harmonized to seamlessly coalesce within this unique compilation.

['The Hatch (Remastered)']: This has a more coherent mix. The song revolves around the ideal of truthfulness, a deep connection, and mutual appreciation between two protagonists in a threatening world full of chaos. They have found a secure place for themselves at 'The Hatch'. The kiss is described as 'Soothing, consoling, and velvety, symbolizing the triumph of love and empathy over an external attack fueled by envy, hatred, and indifference. The word 'Victory' connects to the overarching narrative of soldiers in a world of war and humanity's destructive tendencies against itself.

['Restless (Remastered)']: The mix and master are cleaner, with the vocals brought forward. Throughout the lyrics, there is a pervasive sense of defiance and resistance against external forces, as well as a haunting awareness of the inevitability of mortality. ['Play The Key (Revised)']: The mix and master are new, and the vocals have been remixed. Minor parts have been newly integrated. The protagonist's journey is impeded by attacks from another person. Through escapism, choosing the epic path by playing the key, the protagonist seeks to escape the violence and discovers in this world the dandelion as a healing herb within a paradisiacal utopian vision.
['Subway (Remastered)']: The track has been harmonized in its mix and alignment.

['Merry Anna D&B Version (Remastered)']: The mix and master are cleaner, with louder vocals.

['Amber's Love Was Like A Marble (Revised)']: The mix and master are new, the vocals have been remixed, and new parts have been integrated. This version is now as it should have always been.

['Sprouted And Formed (Remastered)']: The mix and master are cleaner. It's almost a revised version, but since there were no changes in the arrangement, it remains labeled as 'Remastered.'

['Snowflakes Neuropop (Remastered)']: The mix and master are cleaner, with louder vocals.
