this track hit me in a 2C-P (synthetic mescaline) trip... damn. i was dancing my usual style (rotating, derwish, pogo, boxing...) by myself... and then i got the lyrics: its the voice of mother nature, angrily crying about humans as thankless children, giving up on humans, saying goodbye to humans...

Songs from GITS or similar and a bunch of cool random songs too (mostly instrumental). Both calm and heart racing songs. Good mix for gaming.

This one feels like a fitting way to close out on what's been an absolutely insane year and also a bit more personal than some others songs as we wanted to translate our experience with the journey moving from Russia to France with our families. We started this collab with Skylark at his studio in Strasbourg in April this year right before moving and rendered the final version in our new home - in Toulouse.

As soon as it was ready we started playing it live and it quickly became one of our favourite parts of the set, so it felt right to get this one out before the end of the year.

Concord Dawn - Morning Light

NZ's very own bad boy darlings saw us to a new dawn in DNB with Morning Light on Timeless, so perfectly geographically located too. Take Me Away on Commercial Suicide is a twin sister track to Morning Light. It's the female side of the story, expressed in its vocal and softer melodic line that counterbalances its more elegant and slower drop. Take sounds out melancholy and an emotional twilight in a prequel to Light's raw yell in the dawn. At vast 9 minutes, it doesn't have to be doubled up or looped live to deliver the sweet parts while never getting boring, which is a production marvel and a testament to the technical skill of the Concords. It's arguably the more epic - anything and everything - one of the siblings.
