Back in 78´ from our favourite producers Ashford & Simpson in voice of the legendary Chaka Khan we re-sampled, added new synths and chop the vocals to finish our version of this track in honor of every woman that make our life better.

Hi Music Lovers,
I am now releasing this track in HQ on my BANDCAMP .
Miss Cheryl Lynn "Sleepwalkin", the original track was recorded for the "Instant Love" album in 1982 under Luther Vandross/ Marcus Miller production umbrella.
I also wanted to have a follow up for my Aretha Franklin "It's Your Thing" rework that I did 1 year ago, as it is the same kind of production, with almost the same incredible cast of musicians:
-Marcus Miller on Bass
-Yogi Horton on Drums
-Nat Adderley on Keyboards
-Steve Lowe on Guitar (who replaced Doc Powell for this particular session.)
So that means, this Cheryl Lynn rework is number 2 on this trilogie, you can expect in the future a 3rd track reworked from Luther Vandross/ Marcus Miller original productions.
I love Cheryl Lynn and I play a lot of her songs in my sets.
I had a lot of pleasure reworking this wonderful track, and the Marcus Miller/Yogi Horton duo is incredible !
Please be informed that I didn't have any stems or multitrack to proceed my rework; I used the original records from my collection and, beside the new beat that I added,  all the other Drums and Bass sounds that you hear are from my original album.
