Hi. I was recently included in DJ Mag's 'Bubblers' feature ( September 2022 https://djmag.com/features/12-emerging-artists-you-need-hear-september-2022 ), and to celebrate that alongside all the support I've had, I decided to record a mix of some of my unreleased productions/collabs. Some of them will be out in the near future, and some may never come out at all. I've worked with some amazing artists, labels, DJs, writers, had some brilliant support and advice too --> This is my way of honouring that and the relationships I've built. Thank you!

Solace's Winter

I made this track originally as part of the 'Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained' style tracks which are mainly centred around 808 drums, music like Loose Ends and 4/4 garage. It's been on my harddrive for a while and I was planning on releasing it with some other tracks but I don't have the headspace for it all right now (I might add them to this release at some point in the future). There's something in me that feels the need the to get this track out, so here it is! It's called 'Struggle Untold'. Sometimes people present themselves as all happy and smiling, resilient to anything that comes their way - but deep down they are hurting really bad..... this one's for you!

'Sampled' is a collection of 4 tracks which were created by sampling mainly old jungle/dnb records, and the odd disco track. I was interested in making music from samples of music that had been made from samples!

This project was made for fun, all the music was made as quickly as possible without much thought.

Sampled Minimix (all tracks free via bandcamp)

This track was made using Audacity and Traktor (Native Instruments). They are both free to download and use. To begin with I recorded the sound from a tuning fork using the laptop built-in microphone. And then I did some basic processing using effects in Audacity. The possibilities really are limited by your imagination. Get in touch with me if you make anything using this software or if there's other free software you recommend. Cheers.
