This started out as a dark acoustic guitar song and took a left turn once I started recording it. Simple beats with three short guitar solos, this song is chill and great for background music.

I love the sound of piano and strings together, and I mixed in a little bit of my guitar with some other elements to add some depth. A little spacey at times with delays and arpeggiation.

Refined

I wrote this song in a time where I was petrified by depression and anxiety. Life wasn't really helping me out at the time, and if it was, I was way too blind to see it. Completely imprisoned by my own thoughts, I managed to come up with this song. It is one of my personal favourites, and not just because of where it came from. What this song means to me is hope. Hope that things will progress and improve, nothing stays stagnant unless you let it. Maybe it's a coincidence, maybe it's something more, but my life changed around almost 100% within the two weeks after completing this track. 

The smallest of rocks can rock the largest of lakes. There's light in there somewhere, go find it.
