Having established himself as a key player in the House and Tech House scene over the past couple of years with a string of successful releases on Toolroom, Sola, Lost, ABODE, SOLOTOKO and Kaluki, as well as an Ibiza residency in Amnesia under his belt and performances at some of Dance music's biggest parties including Elrow, Lovebox and We Are Fstvl, GW Harrison is certainly creating moves in all the right places and he's built up a growing army of support in just a few short years. With a string of successful releases already in their discography, Digitaria are no amateurs when it comes to creating memorable and unique dance floor hits. After putting out albums on both Hot Creations and International DJ Gigolos, the duo make their debut on Items & Things with the expertly crafted and undeniably authentic, 'Starburst Poems'.

Jumping off is the title track: A hypnotizing blend of spooky triplets laid over a rugged 'four to the floor' kick drum. As the wobbly lead constantly twists and turns, short sonic blasts of digital artifacts create the perfect contrast between organic euphoria and technological precision.

As with the title track, 'Again and Again' follows suit with a master combination of the natural and synthetic as the duo entwines a rich looping piano with seductive sine tones creating the perfect balance between polar opposites. All the while a haunting female vocal recites the track title resulting in an emotionally enchanting ride.

Wrapping up the EP is 'Over and Over‘, and again the duo create a uniquely magical odyssey by having opposing forces meet head-on. While rigid percussion constructs the foundation, wild arpeggios come to life establishing a strange, yet engaging campaign that fits superbly to any time and place.

With a history of releases for the likes of Hot Creations, Lost and Phobic behind him, the Leeds producer is well-fitted to Matthias Tanzmann's label. Taking things deep, down and dirty on his new effort, Kurmis turns out 3-tracks of sultry house.

Our Debut Transmission 'Fourtunes' uses its simple call and response vibe to devastating effect, answering a murky grumble with the digital drip of acidic synths.

Up next on Hot Creations is intrepid Spaniard Dennis Cruz. The award winning DJ and producer drops some heavy hitting dance-floor dynamite this June, enlisting the production expertise of New York’s Joeski for the remix.

Title track Freaks is deep and driving, with its almost slurred vocal, it’s perfect for those 4am vibes when the freaks come out to play. Mother F*cker utilises heavier percussion set off by a pounding bass. The Joeski rework of Freaks adds a dash of prominent high-hats with the producer softening that unmistakable bass-line. Dennis explains "this EP is the style of music that I love to play and produce. It's what I feel more comfortable with and what I think defines my sound”.

Dennis Cruz has been firmly implanted in the music scene from a young age. He got his first taste for playing music at the age of 17. Since then he’s gone on to produce tracks for prominent labels such as Moon Harbour, Solid Grooves, Snatch! And Nervous Records. His records have been championed by some of the industry’s hottest DJs from Jamie Jones to Loco Dice, and Nic Fanciulli to Marco Carola. As well as receiving recognition from Radio 1, Mixmag and DJ Mag. Add to that winning multiple awards awards and nominations from Beatport, Resident Advisor, Vicious and the DJ Awards Best Producer in 2017.
