Here is a sample of some of the music I composed for VIENNA: Suddenly An Angel, the short documentary film about the life & passing of the sweet 2 1/2 year old girl, Vienna.

This piece is called Reverence.

She passed of unknown causes, officially called SUDC, Sudden Unexplained Death in Children.

She is in a category officially reported in only 1 in 100,00 young persons' deaths. 

Denise Wunderler, her mom, went on to form a nonprofit that raises funds to help understand why this happens in these young humans. 

With this nonprofit, Team Vienna 4 SUDC Awareness Inc., she has made a wonderful documentary of Vienna's short journey and how there is hope in finding a common gene that explains why this happens.

Here is a sample of some of the music I composed for it. I was so moved by actually knowing Vienna, experiencing the love between all family members, and then ultimately feeling the utter sense of loss they all felt….it moved me so profoundly, that the music poured right out of me….

Delighted to share the release of my newest original mr. RAY song for kids called…
OKIE DOKIE SKONNAMOKIE. 

I know…. probably too serious a title and subject matter.  

I’ve been saying this term to kids at my shows during my in-between song banter, for a couple of years now. I have no idea where it came from.

Oh yeah…my silly 6-year old brain.  🤓

Anyway, a few months ago, I realized that I need to write a song with these words as the title, due to their collective reaction. 

When I perform it live, I can barely make it thru the verses, cuz the kids in the audience are already singing and buzzing about the chorus. Too cute. 

I hope the kids in your life, and the kid inside you…enjoy it.

To a child, anything outside is bliss. 
Rain or shine. 
There’s something about the energy they feel when they sense that air, what unfolds, playing wherever they are. 

That’s what I tried to capture here, in this song. 

The main lyrical hook, goes….

☀️ It’s like the sun’s always shining
Even if it’s raining
‘cause we’re outside! 🌧️ 

And, oh yeah….we stretched-out 6-year olds feel it, too. 😊 

I hope I captured some of that, here, and you and your families and classrooms, enjoy it.
