This was a Documentary from 1993 that won a Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Promoting Cross Cultural Relations. Produced by Scott Rinn andbenton Productions. Directed by Bob Richards.  Music by Ray Dretske.

This 30 minute piece was composed for the Monroe Institute's Metamusic Series.  I worked directly with Bob Monroe on this piece and we spent a lot of time on the phone working through edits and revisions as he had a very specific feeling in mind that he wanted for this piece.  
He wanted a classical, film-score style, and I was given a script to follow with specific emotions and implied action to be taking place throughout the piece.  It was a joy to work directly with Bob on this one.

Influenced by the work of Amin Bhatia, this piece has a Sci-Fi theme and a Classical orchestration.

Composed and Arranged with the amazing Larry David, This track was no our Inspiration album, released in 1992.  It was later used as the main theme for an award-winning documentary film called With Love & Respect.

Saxophonist Ray Dretske has composed and arranged music for film, TV, theater, radio, and games.  In the last few years, he has mostly been playing jazz and not writing, but this site gives some examples of album work, commercial work, and film and theater work.  Ray also is the President and CEO of rSchoolToday, which makes very popular Web apps for schools.
