In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king, 
(But it's clear that it's the jester pulling the strings, )
Threads of truth unravel, in a public charade, 
When the fool's the one whose leading the parade
Promising dreams with threads unmade. 
The emperor strides with hollow grace, 
Fear holds the tongues that bloat on waste, 
Hiding the truth of his disgrace.


In painted suits, the Jesters rise,
(Their mask obscures their eyes,)
But can't conceal their appetites, 
(Bitter truths yield to honeyed lies,)
And No matter who wears the crown, 
But when the palace is full of clowns, 
They make a circus of the throne, 
Quantity has a quality of its own,

Watch the jesters dodge every plea,

No one cares, Just LIFT!!!

Parents always riding you but they don't know what it's like!
Your teacher doesn't 'get you' and you think she's probably a dyke,
The boss doesn't like your attitude and you think he's probably right,

You're ex is tagging you in with your best mate who's in town,
You would have joined the army but you'd probably knock the Sergeant out!
There weren't many who liked you when you had to 'find yourself'
Even less will like you if they see you're still a fucking mess!

Ten rats and a cockroach
Cracking floors and crooked doors,
Asbestos raining from the ceiling,
And mold growin' up the walls,


One fridge and it's broken
The rubbish is piled up in the sink, 
They cut the power off a week ago
