All material - cut, altered, mixed at will - comes from a nocturnal solo improvisation with fretless acoustic bass guitar with piezo pickup, effect pedals (Carcosa - Dark Star - Obscura), non synchronized loops, three amps. Recorded in the room with Zoom H2n, edited in Audacity. All sounds made with the instrument. All sounds, mixing and production: Velvet Something Superdark.

Setsuko Nozawa (1920–1995) was a poet from Yokohama. Inspired by the works of Bashō and Rinka Ōno, she started writing haiku in the 1930s, joined the magazine Shakunagein 1939, and later moved to Hama in 1946. Later in life, she dedicated herself fully to poetry and ikebana, and in 1971 she founded the haiku magazine Ran, later directed by Kōzaburō Wada.

Step 2: Listen to the recording from Step 1.

Step 3: Select a section of the recording from Step 1, perhaps 3 to 5 minutes in length.

Step 4: Listen several times in a row to the section selected in Step 3. Get to know its sounds, and the overall shape of the recording.

Step 5: Record a track in which you play along with the storm.
