A friend found an original chart to "It's A Sin To Tell A Lie" that's in 3/4 time as opposed to more common 4/4. It has a real old-time feel when played this way. It's 9 tracks total and features a Martin acoustic plus a bass and a Dobro (thanks, Jeff).

This arrangement features an electric piano part that was created by extracting the pitches from my guitar part using Melodyne and assigning them to a keyboard sound. The big fat jazz guitar tone on the melody guitar is actually a Strat, recorded direct into Studio One.

A 1951 Charlie Parker be-bop tune played as a samba. 
The guitar is an ES-335, recorded direct into the DAW. 
Extra piano melody parts to double the melodies are from my guitar parts, extracted using Melodyne software.

Au Privave

This one uses a new pedal I was trying out. It's a Strat through the overdrive pedal into a Strymon TimeLine and then  into a Fender Super reverb amp. An SM57 on the amp into the DAW.

Green Dragon

This is a bluesy shuffle that I did as part of a video project. There are three guitar tracks, bass and drums. 
All the guitars are an ES-335, each played in real time without edits through a Fender amp and a Wampler Euphoria overdrive. The guitar on the left side gets a rotary speaker treatment added in Studio One.

No amps, mics, or speakers were harmed in the creation of this track.   ;-)
I wanted to try the new Ampire guitar amp simulators in the Studio One DAW, so I created this 12/8 feel track. It was all recorded direct with a Fender Strat. 

There are two rhythm guitars, panned left and right, that use the Vox amp.  The one on the right has some phaser and tremolo via the virtual pedalboard that comes with the amp sim. 

The melody guitars use their Marshall simulation. Even the wah pedal is the amp sim. Automation was used to 'move' a virtual foot on the wah pedal to get the effect.

This song uses the Waves OVox plugin on drums as a rhythmic element.

It features Jerry Kovarsky on the organ and Jay Davidson on sax.
