Some personal words:
My music taste was shaped by living in many countries. Growing up in Moscow, Russia, my journey began as a child with a rare vinyl collection inherited from my dad. Later, after spending a third of my life in Dubai and a few years in the Cayman Islands, I embraced different cultural traditions of local sound. 
My obsession with dub techno began in my teenage years when I accidentally got a vinyl of Maurizio M7. Heavily influenced by labels like Chain Reaction, M_nus, Staalplaat, and others, I have been exploring the depths of dub techno, deep, and minimal ever since.

The Lab is a brand-new radio show at @blooplondon dedicated to the darker, deeper, and more experimental corners of electronic music. Hosted by mycologist, each episode brings a carefully curated selection of rare finds and exclusive guest mixes from boundary-pushing artists who are committed to the raw and alternative spirit of techno.

We created this space to allow artists to fully unlock their creativity and be free in their selection to deliver their most unique sounds without any dance floor pressure. It is all about deep and meaningful journeys. We want to experiment with different sounds and step away from beaten path as we see this as the perfect setting to create something truly unique and meaningful. This is The Lab.

[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] proudly presents the second chapter of its 79th release: Francesco Tamburrano – The Gambler. Postscript I

Venice shrouded in a haze of electric reflections, canals stretching like lines of fate, masks on faces, and behind them – rhythms that govern the mind. Francesco Tamburrano (@ft-dubtechno) returns with The Gambler. Postscript I – a remix album. Since the original album was a musical reinterpretation of the novel The Gambler by Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky, the continuation is conceptually shaped exclusively by Russian dub techno masters. They rewrote the album’s map like chess players maneuvering through time and space. Eight tracks, eight remixes, each crafted by Russian artists fluent in the dialects of shadow, echo, and spatial depth.

The album opens with “Alexei Ivanovich (Nebula Alchemists (@enercube and @x_fr) Intro)” – an atmospheric portal into introspection, a soft gamble of fate. “Madame de Cominges” is transformed twice: the Chain Selector (@chainselector) and Cossmann (@cossmann-music) remixes construct elegant labyrinths of tension and release, where every beat is a strategic move. “Polina Alexandrovna” unfolds in three interpretations: German F (@german_fed), Sergio Sincopa (@sergiosincopa), and Ekstendia (@ekstendia) reveal her melancholic charm and hidden shades, turning the track into a deep dive through layered textures and hypnotic pulses. “Marquis de Grieux (Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube and @x_fr) Flashback Mix)” vibrates with nostalgia and the rhythm of desire. “Mlle Blanche (BLOMAQ (@blomaq) Remix)” closes the cycle, leaving the listener suspended between light and shadow.

Each composition is alchemy: Francesco’s original vibrations blend with the Russian perspective on dub techno, creating an auditory space where time bends and sound becomes matter. The Gambler. Postscript I is not just a remix album – it’s a game with chaos, an exploration of structure, a descent into a hypnotic labyrinth. For [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], this release is a symbol of dialogue, transformation, and fearless pursuit of the new. Enter the game anew: every remix is a roll of the dice, every texture a portal to the unknown, every sound a moment of revelation.

ist ein Begriff aus der antiken Mythologie. 

Er bezeichnet die als Idealzustand betrachtete 
friedliche Urphase der Menschheitsgeschichte,
die durch die entstehende Zivilisation beendet wurde.

Unter der Herrschaft des Kronos waren Krieg und Zwiespalt unbekannt, 
gesetzliche Regelungen überflüssig, 
das Leben verlief ohne Anstrengung. 

Die Menschen verzehrten kein Fleisch und brauchten keinen Ackerbau zu treiben, 
sondern ernährten sich nur von dem, was die Erde ihnen von selbst gab. 

Sie bewegten sich unbekleidet im Freien, da das Klima dies ermöglichte. 

Zwischen Menschen und Tieren gab es sprachliche Verständigung. 

Auch unter den Tieren herrschte Frieden, 
sie dienten einander noch nicht zur Speise.


Nach der indischen Weltzeitalterlehre 
ist die Welt einem ewigen kosmischen Kreislauf unterworfen, 
in dem vier Zeitalter (Yugas) einander ablösen. 
Sie sind nicht mit Metallen, sondern mit den Farben assoziiert, 
die der Gott Vishnu in den Yugas jeweils annimmt 
(Weiß, Rot, Gelb und Schwarz). 
Das erste Yuga ist das Krita Yuga 
(„Vollkommenes Zeitalter“, auch Satya Yuga genannt), 
zu dem die weiße Farbe gehört. 
Im Epos Mahabharata 
sind die Merkmale dieser idealen Epoche angeführt. 
Sie ähneln denen des antiken europäischen Mythos: 
Die Menschen brauchen sich nicht anzustrengen, 
denn ihre Wünsche werden mühelos erfüllt; 
Mangel, Krankheit, Verfall, Elend, Zwietracht, Neid, Hass und Heimtücke 
sind unbekannt; 
Handel wird nicht getrieben, Arbeit ist unnötig. 
In den folgenden Zeitaltern kommt es zu einem fortschreitenden 
Rückgang der Fähigkeiten und Verfall der Religion und der Tugenden. 

Das letzte von ihnen, das schwarze Kali Yuga, 
bildet wie in der antiken Mythologie den schärfsten Gegensatz 
zur vollkommenen Anfangszeit: 
Hass und kriminelle Gewalttätigkeit setzen sich durch.
