Pulse System Yield - Magnetic Fields

This is a composition I created using only manipulated audio samples I recorded of my Canadian made Devinci bicycle. I blew into the seat post, let air out of the tires, cranked the free wheel, rang the bell, plucked the spokes and tapped the frame. The only other sound is of a man walking by singing in the garage while I was recording. I was influenced to create this in part by the memory of Greg Curnoe's wonderful Mariposa bicycle paintings, his tragic death while cycling .... and also seeing a video of Frank Zappa playing a bicycle on TV.
