'Family Tree' from the Ides of March sessions 1992. With Scot Shuford, Terry DePauw, Kim Edmisten and Sam Edmisten. Eventually Terry Scot and I did a three piece recording project called Vagrant's Garden. 
This tune was actually written in '89 when Ken Yager, Charlie Smith and I were trying to get something going. It was the first thing I wrote  for the project with those guys, but we never recorded it.

Family Tree

I drank wine and wrote a song from the perspective of the mama bird that lives in my window beside the air conditioner as she was trying to coax her babies into flying.
There might be other things i was thinking about as well.

Queer Little Bird Song

I found my inner Kiss fan on this demo. That isn't unusual, but I was inspired by getting back together with Jon for more Togaz stuff and this may end up there before all is said and done, but for now let's just call it an homage to one of the most important bands of my life. Nothing was greater than being a KISS fan in 1977 and that's all i wanted to parlay with this ridiculously misogynist ditty.  Thanks for listening!
