Cold is a song about transformation and rebirth. The awakening of your soul, coming out of a frozen slumber, walking into the warm light of a better life. Our Cold, lonely and dark nights, eventually change with the tides, and comes with the reminder that we're never alone, and the Creator, angels, and spirits around us, are always waiting with an open hand to help us cross over to a life with more love and comfort. We hope our song Cold, brings a sense of hope and peace to the world.

This song is for my step daughter whom, my wife and I, have not spoken to in years.  She was so loving and happy, and one day decided she wanted nothing to do with us anymore.  No explanation.  We will always love her and hope one day she'll want to see us again.  Until then, we hold out hope.

All instrumentation was done by me alone, vocals, guitars, bass, drums.  Nothing was programmed, played entirely by myself.  Enjoy!

inspired by my 3 month open-mic couchsurfing car-living fiasco that was one part freedom and one part sacrifice. Sacrifice is a major theme in this tune. It deals with what people do in order to reach their dreams/goals AND the question, is it worth it?

Ray Wellman is a singer songwriter currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee and is an aspiring professional songwriter.  He's experimented with many styles including blues, metal, rock, country, and indie.  As a singer songwriter, the amalgamation of those styles is apparent, esp. in the EP "The Struggle" released in 2013.  Music is his absolute passion; life and experience the influence for his songs.  Usually writing to the "darker" side of innermost struggles, and allowing that truth to surface and not be ignored, allows for some seriously thought-provoking tracks.
