My producer Mannie iL and I created this track during a magical late night session in the studio. I was just about to wrap things up when he played the beat and instantly, it hit me. There was something nostalgic about it, like it reached straight into a feeling I hadn’t put into words yet.

The lyrics came from a raw and honest place. I had just gotten out of a breakup and was moving through a wave of emotions…some painful, some beautiful. I’ve learned that heartbreak doesn’t mean the end. Yeah, people mess up, but there’s always someone out there who’s ready to love you the way you deserve.
