"Neon Sky was a composition my sister Coley and I put together. I wrote the melody on the same day I changed my artist name to "Sam Casual". I wanted the vibe to be gentle and smooth, My sister thought the song had a chilled out festival vibe to it, so we wrote lyrics to complement the vibe."

"Darkness Shines still means as much to me now as it did when I wrote it. I created the composition at 11pm at night in two hours, including the recording of my vocals on my handheld recorder. A week later, I remember jumping outside my sisters car to it, with all three of my sisters in the car with the doors open playing it full volume on BBC radio."
