A “Rebel” is defined as ‘a person who does not obey rules or accept normal standards of behavior, dress, etc’, Ray Rebel’s moniker describes him perfectly. The self-proclaimed ‘rebel’ is a 23-year-old rapper, making a name for himself as a new breed of emcee in Memphis, Tennessee which is most known for raunchy, gangster rap. Rebel’s stage presence and unconventional image has his name ringing in local and national circles. 
 
As the old saying goes, a man is the product of his environment. That is definitely true in the case of the versatile Ray Rebel. Born in East Machias, Maine and spending time in New York as a child due to parents being in the military, Ray relocated to his parents hometown in South Memphis where his East Coast swagger and southern style come together to make a unique mix that's never been heard before. 

Rebel’s momentum continues to grow by the day with the release of his 4th installment "Everything is Everything". He is continuing to perfect his craft as he works on his "God's Gift" EP which is due soon.
