Ray van Miles is a music producer and DJ from Germany, currently living in South Africa. 

His favorite music is Trance (vocal, progressive, uplifting, emotional). But he also like to produce house and techno tracks sometimes.

He grew up musically with 90's dance, techno and rave music and was inspired by this music to make music himself. Trance music came in the late 90s and early 2000s through artists like Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, ATB, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Blank & Jones, Cosmic Gate, Above & Beyond, Aly & Fila, Robert Miles, Chicane, Dash Berlin and many more. 

These artists and their music inspired him to get more involved with electronic music production and to learn and acquire the necessary knowledge himself. He have been doing this since the beginning of the 2000s. And in 2009 he had his first release with the song Mondo Mondo under the artist name R V M. 

After a few more releases of his productions and remixes, he changed his artist name to R-V-M and then finally changed it to Ray van Miles in 2019. 

He started DJing and creating mix sets around the end of 2012. Since then, several songs have been produced and released including remixes, collaborations and some DJ mixes created.

Supported from other producers and DJ´s around the world like Suzy Solar, Roger Shah, French Skies, Ori Uplift, Ben van Gosh, DJ Ten, Physical Phase, W!SS, Lazarus, Sanani and many more.

His musical journey started a long time ago, had many changes, had highs and lows, but it never stopped and keeps going on.

The production of electronic music in various genres is his passion, and music is a universal language for all people around the world.
