SRB2 Stuff

Another SRB2 zone, this time Egg Rock. I've been sitting on this one a while and haven't done much with it, I never got the guitar sounding good unfortunately (synth guitar is always arse, and I can't play to save my life). But eh, I thought I'd release it anyway as I was happy with the rest.

SRB2 - Castle eggman (Remaster)

This is a remix of the Techno Hill Zone Theme from the open source game Sonic Robo Blast 2 (https://www.srb2.org/). This is a Work-in-Progress, so it isn't as refined as some of my other posted pieces are at this point in time.

Remake of my remix of Spring Hill (Christmas), this music is now used for Christmas Chime and both are the same thing, so I thought it would make  more sense. I don't own the original song.
Note that this remix is based in an older midi, so it's not fully accurate to the current track used for Christmas Chime.

Tempest Shrine Zone, Act 2 (Beta)

Two days ago I found an old zip file full of old SRB2 midis (SRB2 is a 3D Sonic fan game that’s been worked on for at least a century now, made using an off-shoot of the Doom engine). I decided I’d piss around with the boss music, as I always liked it at the time. Those of you who know SRB2 know this is not that boss music. :P But hey, it’s a somewhat-introduction.

During my 2-hour lunch break at work yesterday (yay last Friday of the month~), I thought I’d give creating a remix of another level’s music I really enjoy a go; Techno Hill Zone. The only difference is I wanted to do it from scratch; no midi for help. This is the result.

For just over an hour and a half of work on it, I’m really happy with it. :> Enjoy.


SRB2 - Techno Hill Zone

Rearrangement of Ice Cap from Sonic 3.
Another track that will possibly be used for Frozen Fortress, another ringslinger (CTF) map from the SRB1 Remake mod DaveLite is working on.
Note that again, "Beta" is on the title, meaning this might not be the final version and the lenght of the track might be readjusted for looping.

SRB1 Remake - Frozen Fortress (Beta)

Another one from those SRB2 MIDIs I found and decided to play with, and another worked with from scratch after listening to it the once again. Went down a different route with it this time, more like some of my older stuff (which I really must upload) where I put background sound effects into it.

I'm quite pleased with how this one has turned out in the end, actually. Originally it was a little bit longer, but it felt to me like it was going on too long.. so I made it this length, and all was good. :>
