Emerald Hill Zone Past Mix

Actual bass is from Waldorf Microwave.

The bass instrument itself is some kind of vox, not sure of the name but it's KORG something. Sonic and Tails are looking in disbelief in the thumbnail (or maybe I was just too lazy to make one). Oh also the marimba/xylophone instrument is actually from its source instead of some crappy recreation.

Also it was a total accident I found it, I just thought "huh that sounded kinda like it" and then compared and it sounded spot on, also checked through a spectogram and it came back as a VERY similar image.

Pipca reblogged a thing for this on twitter. Since she's been doing WL4 stuff recently it's kinda rekindled my interest in WL4 soundfont covers a bit, which I'm happy about.
Took me about 28 minutes to completely arrange in SynthFont using the sequence from m3_ulti_rip

So bit of a history lesson a couple years ago I made a cover of Rude Buster with these samples and released those samples to the public along with it. Unfortunately, however, I was dumb then and missed a lot of instruments. This is here to remedy that.

SFX and Voice Clips are also included but aren't sorted the best mainly because sorting these took too long and I'm exhausted. They're more of an afterthought anyway, the main focus here is that I'm giving you the instruments. Use 'em to your heart's content.

I didn't go public for the longest time because I still hadn't made a unique thumbnail for it, but I don't really care. Also, it's Halloween Month, so it's a fitting post.

I remember being very pleased with the guesswork I did as to which patches meant what (KHII midi's don't follow GM). The choirs especially I loved.
