Raz Mesinai performs live solo percussion on WFMU (sometime around 2000). The instrument used is a Tombak (Persian hand drum, played with the hand and fingers similar to a dumbek, except goatskin and a cherry wood shell) and this recording is completely improvised.

"String Quartet For 4 Turntables" was written in 2000 and commissioned by the Lincoln Center Festival. The quartet was written and recorded in the studio, later each instrument was separately pressed onto 4 vinyl 12's and re-performed by 2 turntablists. Dj Olive and Toshio Kajiwara.
