Twenty-five years ago, Razoof embarked on his musical journey with his first productions, "I Just Wanna Thank God," "Spirituality," and "Montego Bay," three atmospheric house tracks that garnered significant attention in the dance music scene. With these initial releases, Razoof became one of the pioneers of what would later be known as Dubhouse. Two years later, his eclectic uptempo dub anthem "Lamb's Bread" was released on the renowned Stereo Deluxe label, gaining global recognition from DJs worldwide.

Although Razoof primarily released reggae records in the years that followed, he continued to produce house and uptempo electronic music. Some of these tracks were released as singles and EPs, while others remained unreleased. Over the past 25 years, Razoof has collaborated with various artists, including Philadelphia's soul diva Lady Alma, Afrobeat group BANTU from Lagos, Nigeria, dubhouse masters SALZ from his hometown of Cologne, Germany, and Jamaican reggae singer Exile Di Brave. His track "Hip Hop Party," featuring Lady Slyke and DJ Nesta from Kampala, Uganda, offers a unique blend of funky house beats and African hip-hop vibes.

For over 25 years, singer Don Abi and producer Razoof have been creating music together. Back in the ‘90s, they played side by side in Cologne’s
"Don Abi & The High Voltage Band", and Don Abi has been a featured vocalist on every Razoof album released to date. Both artists have deep roots in Cologne as well as on the African continent. DonAbi spends much of his time in the vibrant streets of Lagos, Nigeria’s capital,while Razoof has made Uganda his home for the past several years. With "Break The Curse", they deliver a smooth and hypnotic reggae track that draws you in more with every listen. Don Abi’s unmistakable voice floats effortlessly over the deep, rolling dub beat, creating an atmosphere that lingers long after the music fades. Ubuntu is a term from the Bantu languages, meaning
"I am becausewe are," highlighting the interconnectedness of all people and the
importance of community and compassion.
It is also the title of the latest single from Ugandan singer Generale
Zaabu, in collaboration with producers Razoof and Erdal Tosun. The
track is a powerful reggae anthem that beautifully complements
Zaabu's commanding vocal style, delivering a message of unity,
strength, and solidarity.

name, symbolizing peace and mercy.
