Londoner Daisybelle bumps the BPMs up a few notches and adds pulsing synths to her take, and Brazilian duo From House To Disco turn in a dubby club remix to round out the record.

We’re thrilled to welcome Manzo Edits on our label’s cable mix series, dedicated to record labels and their owners. The new episode is curated by the Manzo Edits, a vinyl-only imprint started by Black Pomade in 2023, focused on cheeky, club-ready reworks that pack punch and groove without overcomplicating things. Each release features a tight selection of dubby edits, often rooted in obscure disco, Italian oddities, and sample-heavy funk cuts. While the label has deep roots in Italy and Portugal, support from DJs and collectors has been strong in many other places, including Japan and the UK. Manzo is fun, is raw, and it doesn’t take itself too seriously, but it always delivers on the floor.

Dutch edit maestro Pete Blaker debuts on RNT with a pair of extended play summertime heaters! LOVE AND DEVOTION has been a staple in Harvey’s sets this year, and for good reason; it’s quite simply a disco banger of legendary proportions that reaches peak after peak in the course of its nearly 16 glorious minutes. On the flip DISOC takes us on a deep and mystical journey, with pulsing bass, shimmery synth and guitar work, swirling strings building to a climactic vocal hook. Born out of the vibrant Naples funk and disco underground, The Funkin’ Machine is a five-piece powerhouse blending Mediterranean rhythms with vintage cosmic grooves.

Formed in 2020 by vocalist and keyboardist Andres Balbucea, alongside guitarist Alessio Pignorio, drummer Andrea De Fazio, bassist Roberto Porzio, and percussionist Paolo Bianconcini, the group has deep roots in Italy’s modern funk scene, with ties to acts like Mystic Jungle, Nu Genea, and Parbleu. After debuting on Periodica’s Seri Pegaso label, they’ve now joined the Star Creature family for their upcoming LP.
