French producer, musician and DJ, Thomas Arroyo aka Laroye has over the last couple of years been dropping musical releases in all the rights places, Atjazz Record Company, Vision Recordings, Ocha Records and Freerange Records to drop a few names! It's now time for his long-awaited album and Local Talk are extremely proud to present 'Let It Go'.

From his studio in Brighton where he resides nowadays, Laroye has produced eight highly musical compositions that will appeal to a wide audience of house heads as well as the jazz, soul, and funk communities. The album offers everything from vocal soul /boogie jams like 'Beauty in motion' and 'Grateful' to the deep vocal house of 'Let it go' to jazz-funk with a strong rare groove feel on 'People out there' plus some house cuts for the clubs!

'Let It Go' is eight solid tracks that you'll want to play over and over and over. Local Talk coming at us once again with high quality dance music at its very best.

Rob Redford makes his debut on Boogie Cafe following on from his well-received work with Sy Sez on Raising Records and To the Rock. We came across Rob's work from his own projects under X-TRAX, leading us to make contact about working together . The product of this is his 614 EP. A masterclass in deep house , with a strong nod towards the sounds of Detroit & Chicago and the likes of Glen Underground , Ron Trent and the late great Mike Huckerby.

Makin ends meet and We will be here having Melodic chords, super bouncy baselines and snappy drums, both with emotive spoken vocals. Factory 2659 takes you straight to early 90s Chicago , very much in a Glen Underground vibe, but with a modern twist.

Rain in July completes the EP with a nod to the early 2000s , with a distinctive west London broken vibe.

We are using this platform for more than just music, for real change. We are extremely pleased to announce that 100% of the proceeds from this EP will be donated to Black Lives Matter. All four artists have graciously and enthusiastically donated each track for this very important release. Juno distribution will also be donating 100% of their proceeds as well. Artwork has been designed & donated by Selections artist Jamn Ensemble. We want to use this time to give back to black culture, as this music is rooted in black culture and without that we wouldn’t have this platform to begin with. Systemic racism is real. Police brutality is real. We will always fight to support our brothers and sisters around us, to uplift through music, and to use this as platform to educate and progress.
