The rather mysterious @clivefromaccounts has been behind several brilliant EP's over the last couple of years with stand-out releases on Dirt Crew and Outplay of special note. To put it simply, The Silver Rider is one amazing dude. One of the sweetest guys in the industry, he has a marvelous way of bringing his wonderful smile into every track he has a hand in. He's got releases on all of the best labels around the world, the most recent of which hail from the studio in his 3rd generation Texas farmstead (which you can read more about here: https://www.magneticmag.com/2017/09/the-silver-rider-disco-rancher/ ). Adding to his impressive discogs listing, The Silver Rider has a forthcoming release on Lovedancing titled "Farm to Tables." Very on theme, Davey! This stellar record drops on October 26th and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

"All I Do" is a wonderful piece of disco house. Approachable with it's 4-4 and claps, the brightness is augmented by the relative simplicity of the production. The lack of unnecessary features allows for us listeners to pay attention to and fall in love with the beautiful, dreamy vocal samples used throughout. As the track takes full form with a tinge of winds and strings, it instills a glorious dreamlike stupor.

The Silver Rider - All I Do [Lovedancing]

Lumberjacks In Hell welcome Croatian producer Andrej Laseech to the table following his promising early outings on Be Yourself and Sound Exhibitions. On this release, Laseech has reached out to the mighty, eternally prolific Javonntte for a little vocal magic, resulting in the utterly sexy deep house burner "More Than Friends". It's a track that Marcel Vogel & Tim Jules clearly dig, judging by the light touch they applied to their own remix of the track. "Take You Away" on the flip is another sweet and sultry warm-up or backroom jam that gets lifted even higher by Javonntte's stellar vocals.

Three years on from his latest solo outing, Crazy P founder member Chris Todd AKA Hot Toddy returns to House of Disco with a predictably fine four-tracker. Our pick of a very strong bunch is the toughened up, revivalist electrofunk flex of "Wilde Touch", where clipped guitar riffs, crunchy Clavinet lines and colourful melodies ride a rubbery bassline, though the Paper Recordings-era Crazy P deep house/disco fusion of "Still We Are" is almost as impressive. Speaking of Crazy P, lead singer Danielle Moore lends her distinctive vocals to the Imagination-ish Brit-boogie business of "Positive Emotion", while the EP's other track, opener "Synthesize", is a darker and more spaced-out chunk of weighty, bassline-driven nu-boogie goodness.
